My phone still wasn't given to me and I was starting to get bored.
A knock on the door woke me up from what seemed like my third nap of the day.
I dragged myself into a sitting position and called out "Come In!"
What I first saw was a bodiless Rick as his head popped around the doorway.
"Hey, hey." He greeted as his full form came into view followed by Zac, Abby, Peter, Austin, Won, Alex and Zion.
Smiling at them, I greeted "Hey guys."
The guys crowded around me as my eyes drifted to Zion, who stood a little off to the side awkwardly. He met my gaze but quickly looked away before I could read him.
"'What's up' is that hot guy you had an accident with." He exclaimed, wriggling his eyebrows. Zac made a noise at the back of his throat.
Rick turned to him and winked "Don't worry babe, you're the only hot guy for me."
The rest of us made disgusted noises apart from Zac who nodded matter-of-factly.
"And don't you forget it." He sassed and the rest of us laughed.
"But seriously though," Austin said when the laughter died down. "Ethan Manchester? The guy's like super famous. How did you not realize?"
I pursed my lips. "I just didn't recognize him." I said indignantly.
"Yeah, cause all you do is watch anime." Alex retorted.
"It is an art form." Zion said, speaking for the first time since he got here.
Everyone bursted into laughter again.
"He was really worried about you." Won said quietly. "Ethan, I mean."
"Yeah, he wanted to barge into your room and all until we were like 'calm down dude, she isn't awake yet'". Abby added.
"Maybe he likes her." Zac piped in.
I chuckled. "Nah", my eyes caught how Zion's fist clenched. "We're just friends."
The guys stayed with me for a little bit, telling me about things going on in the outside world before leaving one after the other.
"We'll see you tommorow." Rick promised.
A chorus of 'yeah's and 'We'll bring actual food' rang out before everyone left.

Well, almost everyone. My eyes slid over to Zion who was staring out the window.
"We need to talk." We both said at the same time.
I smiled at him while he just sighed, a frustrated look on his face.
My smile fell. "What's wrong?" I asked.
It wasn't like Zion to be moody like this so I was worried. He ran a hand through his hair and came to sit on the bed beside me.
"I- I need you to listen to me." He started. "Not to talk but to listen"
I nod as I remember Ethan's words.
Zion sighs and said "I'm sorry I disappeared for a few days. I needed to figure some stuff out and come to a conclusion."
"About?" I prompt.
He gave me a look and I smiled sheepishly
"Sorry, no talking."
He chuckles. "This is what I wanted to think about. You've always prompted me from the sidelines and you still do. The way you speak your mind regardless is one of the reasons I love you."
My brain short-circuted. He loved me? A million and fifty seven questions filled my mind but I kept my mouth shut to let him continue.
"I needed to think about my feelings for you. I needed to stop being a chicken." He continued. "But before I knew it, you got swept away. Suddenly you weren't around anymore and then this accident happened and Ethan and......" he sighed.
"I need to do this before I chicken out."
He turned to look me in the eye.
"Helen, I'm in love with you. I have ever since we were toddlers and we met for the first time. My ice cream spilled and you gave yours to me; a complete stranger."
"Zion-" I start.
"Wait" he interrupts. "If you wanna reject me, I'd rather you rip it off like a band-aid."
"Zion, I-"
"Don't tell me the it's not you, it's me crap and-"
"Zion, just-"
"Tell me quickly without indulg-"
"ZION!" I yelled and squeezed his face between my palms to get him to stop talking. "LISTEN TO ME!"
He nods with difficulty since his face was squashed by my palms.
"Thank you!" I exclaimed, letting him go.
"Now, what you're saying is that you love me?" I asked.
He nodded in silence.
"Well," I started, feeling my face go hot, "the feeling's mutal." I quickly hide my face in my hands and peek through my fingers at him.
"Wait, really?" He asked, blinking quickly and I nod.
"Wow." He breathes, looking up.
"Do you want to give this a try?" We asked each other at the same time. We laughed and both nodded at the same time. I smiled at him.
Cupping my face in his hands, he said "Helen, I love you. I'll follow you anywhere."
I giggled as I leaned into his hand. "You said that after I shared my ice cream with you."
He nodded "I still do though."
I grinned. "Yeah, you do. Let's seal it." I said.
Zion nodded and raised his pinkie. I hook mine with his and he rested his forehead against mine.
