Surprise, surprise! There was someone standing at the door.
Red gasped, then turned and ran down the hallway and slammed the door to his room.
Blue's expression went from relatively happy to death glare. If looks could kill, then the tall figure at the door would be a carbon rock in a crater.
"Quit the face, Blue. That's our adoptee. He was going to pick us up at 11. We just lost track of time with the-" Green started, before being cut off by Yellow.
"It's 10:47," he said, after checking his watch. "You're 13 minutes early. I'm quite sure your watch is early."
At the same time, Second had said: "There's HORSES out back! Isn't that cool? Also there's this pig with a hat. I saw VIA window."
And also exactly when Blue said: "If you don't have anything better to do than stand at the door, it's best consider leaving."
The tall figure paused for a second. His expressions flickered through surprised all the way to angry, then it went back to a neutral calm.
"I really should check my watch, Yellow. But are you done with your business here? I need to go back and make lunch soon," was the reply.
By now Red had realized this was not as scary as he thought, so he slid back in. Before Blue could pipe up again, he said: "Can we go with you? I've never seen the city before."
"Why not?" the tall figure replied. "By the way, you can call me Mango."
"YEAAH! We get to see the city!" was Red's only reply.
   Blue sighed.

-The City-

What Blue was expecting of a city wasn't as grand as he actually saw. People filled the otherwise empty streets. The skyscrapers brushed the clouds, and ground level shops were more plentiful than the eggs Red brought back every day.
The quintuplet of sticks at the back of the van they were driving in were all messing around with everything. Red tried to open a car door while they were still driving, right before the others moved him to the middle. Meanwhile, Yellow was making some strange gizmo, Second was drawing, and Green was busy trying to help Blue with his motion sickness.
"You've never been on a car before, have you?" Green said.
Blue gagged in return, and the rest of the trip was silent.
After what felt like an entire twenty-four hours, the van parked at a vast parking lot in front of an apartment. The group stepped out, and started walking towards the tall building. Blue was a little slow and still carsick, so Green stayed behind to help. Five minutes later, they joined the others in the apartment.
They tried to, at the very least.
   The door was locked.
There wasn't any sound coming out of it, either.
Green noticed a note coming out from under the door. He picked it up, and read the sentence that followed.
"Rose macaroni? What's rose macaroni supposed to mean-"
A net fell on the both of them, and everything went black.
