UNEXPECTED // P. JIHOON

twenty six

i spent most of the last few nights at jihoons place. we really needed some time to talk about not just our relationship but also our own problems and struggles.

it helped us understand each other more and made us even closer even though i thought that wasn't possible.

it's now saturday and the guys' photoshoot starts in an hour. junho made sure everyone got picked up on time, including me and some other people from the company.

after an hour drive we finally arrive at the place and get ready to get out of the car.

the members thought it would be better for me and some of the staff members to get out first. which honestly worried me because there were some paparazzi impatiently waiting for the guys to get out.

as soon as i leave the car and try to rush inside, people start taking pictures, which confused me a little since it was only me and a few other people that the public wouldn't  really know.

"kaia! how is your relationship going?"

"how do you feel about jihoon having a photoshoot with other female idols?"

"are you breaking up?"

after some more stupid questions i finally get to the entrance of the building but i overheard someone shout,

"why is he dating you and not someone who will benefit him in the long run?"

after i get inside the building one of the female staff members held me by the shoulder and said,

"don't listen to these people. they know nothing about your guys relationship."

i nod and just smile.

i don't care about these comments, it just made me wonder if there's more people that thought like that. just because i'm not famous doesn't mean he can't be happy with me?

everyone made sure the guys got ready for their shoot. so after 2 hours everyone was done with their hair, make up and outfits, which was fast considering there are 12 of them.

"alright guys, you'll take some pictures alone first, then we'll divide you into 3 groups of 4 people. after that we'll have a lunch break and then you're having a quick shoot with the girls of aespa", one of the staff explained.

the boys went to get their first shoot done while i'm waiting with the other staff members.

we were talking about work when suddenly the door opened.

i looked over and saw that the girls and their manager arrived.

we all stood up and greeted each other. i recognise the girl who gave me the album with the note. i think winter was her name.

she looked surprised. she probably didn't expect me to be here today.

"you arrived earlier than expected so i'm guessing you guys will have lunch with us. the guys are finishing their shoot right now but i think they'll be done in a few minutes", one of the staff explains.

i hear the door behind us open only to see all of the guys.

"oh hello", they look surprised but immediately bow to everyone.

i look over to jihoon and i can see he was looking at me too, probably because he wanted to see my expression.

"you can get something to eat in the cafeteria downstairs, just don't take too long so we can finish on time", the photographer says before he goes back to the other room.

everyone makes their way downstairs but i wait for jihoon.

as if he was thinking the same thing he quickly walks over to me and takes my hand.
