Chapter 5.

-At school- (morning)

Will's Pov- After I had left the house, I rode my bike to school; the ride was a bit longer than usual since I was really tired and couldn't peddle fast. When I got to school Mike, Dustin and Lucas were already there waiting for me, "Hi guys" "Hi Will" they all said at the same time, Mike then ran up to me and gave me a tight hug, "I missed you" "I missed you too", while Dustin and Lucas were looking away for a second and no one else was looking Mike gave me a quick peck on the cheek, "Mikeee" I said smiling after he did what he did "what?" he said smiling back, "there's people here" "don't worry no one was looking" he then winked at me and then we both walked into school.

When we got into school, we all hung around our lockers, "are you guys excited about the play?" Dustin then said, shit, shit, shit, I totally forgot about the play, I really don't want to do it, "no I'm not excited" I then said to Dustin, "why not?" "BECAUSE ILL HAVE TO KISS A GIRL" I then yelled getting nearly everyone in the hall's attention, my friends all went quiet and we then didn't talk until we had to go to rehearsal.

-At rehearsal-

Mike's Pov- When, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and I got to rehearsal, Will looked really sad, but I didn't know what to do to comfort him, "Ok kids, Will and Max are going to be playing the main roles of Romeo and Juliet" our teacher said, when she was just about to continue speaking Troy interrupted her, "WHAT, WHY DOES WILL GET TO PLAY THE MAIN ROLE" "because he does ok? deal with it" the teacher said back to Troy, Troy then scrunched his nose and went and sat down in a corner, probably to cry or something. Then when we were about to start, some redhead girl interrupted, "Miss, may I please just play an extra?" she asked the teacher, "But Max you the only girl suitable for the role", when the redhead was just about to speak again, I quickly blurted out "MISS, I CAN PLAY THE ROLE", everyone one's heads then turned to me, "but Mike, you're not a girl" "So? I think I'd make a great girl", I then said back proudly, everyone in the room started laughing, "please Miss" I said pleading my eyes at her, "fine Mike you can play the role", I was really happy that I would now get to play the main role with Will, I then looked over at Will and he gave me a warm smile at me after mouthing thank you, I gave him a warm smile back and then got ready for the play.

-Two days later-

Will's Pov- Just before we were about to go on stage, I felt like I was going to die, I chugged down a glass of water which helped a bit, Mike was there comforting me the entire time before we went on, "Will you're going to be ok, trust me, and if anyone messes up, it's going to be me, ok? you're going to be great" Mike said to me in a hopeful tone, hoping that I would trust him, I didn't reply and gave Mike a slight smile as we were walking on stage.

-1 hour later-

Now was the moment I had to kiss Mike, I said my line, now all I needed to do was kiss him, everyone was looking right at me, all probably wondering if I would actually kiss him, there was a lot of whispering coming from the audience, I didn't know what to do, should I just suck it up and kiss him? I heard Mike whisper something very softly without moving his lips, "Will just kiss me, it doesn't matter what others think", Mike gave me the confidence to just do it, I then placed a soft tender kiss on Mike's lips, as I did, I hear some gasps from the Croud and the whispering getting louder, someone was talking loud enough for me to hear them, "eww, why the fuck did that fag actually kiss him", at that moment I just wanted to cry, I tried to hold in my tears but I couldn't, after I had broken the kiss between Mike and I, I ran off stage and to the bathrooms.

Mike's Pov- As I got up to run after Will I heard someone yell from the audience, "Yea, go get your little boyfriend fag", I felt bad for Will, this wouldn't have happened if I didn't tell him to just kiss me. When I got to the bathrooms, I saw Will just standing there crying, I walked up to him and gave him a hug, "Will are you alright?" I ask him, he didn't answer, Will then said "Mike im so, so sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you or anything, im really sorry" he was now full on crying "Will it's alright you did nothing wrong," I said to comfort him, "and on the bright side the kiss was reallyyyyyy good," I said dragging out the Y, Will then looked up and staired into my eyes while a smile formed on his face, I then placed a hard kiss on his lips, I then slowly pushed Will into one of the stalls locking the door behind me, I then broke our kiss and started unbuckling his belt, but while I was doing so I heard someone enter the bathroom, it went silent, Will and I just froze and were now just staring into each other's eyes, all we could hear now was the sound of piss, we were just there not moving for a very long minute, still in the same position, my hand on Wills belt and his on mine. As soon as I heard the person leave, I continued to unbuckle his belt as he did the same to mine.
