Reinhardt Crozzo, the oldest of the Crozzo three, sat on a throne with his hands on the guard of a sword. Dressed in plate armor with a gambeson below, the young man's eyes were cold, calculating, and brutal. His armor had numerous scratches and reformed dents showing the years of experience he had accumulated through combat.
"Bring him in." The young man said. Beside him, a pair of knights nodded as several lightly armored people came in through the door, dragging a person. Behind them, Rex walked confidently, a spear in hand with a sword on his waist.
"Brother," Rex greeted calmly before kicking the bound figure forward, sending him to the floor.
stabbing his spear to the ground between the figure's bindings, the youngest of the tree pulled off the bag to reveal a man with a bruised face. "Made him talk. Reve and Rita took care of the rest." Rex said as he stood on a parade rest with a blank look on his face.
"Ramsay Snow." Reinhardt greeted with a blank tone. "Did you think you can hide from us for so long?"
"You piece of shit," Ramsay said with a growl only to be stopped by a kick from the youngest and for his head to be smashed to the ground. "
"Mind your tongue," Rex said calmly, his hand gripping the head of the man as he pressed it to the ground.
"You have betrayed the order and collaborated with terrorists resulting in a zombie infestation that claimed the lives of a thousand souls," Reinhardt said, not moving from his throne nor reacting to how brutal his usually lethargic brother is.
"I will do it again. All of you are nothing but-" What he was gonna say was stopped when his head hit the ground with enough force to break his nose. "I demand my0"
"Nothing," Reinhardt said as he stood up from his throne. The light from the sun, entered through the glass panes behind him, illuminating his visage and casting a shadow that covered Ramsay's form. Hands on the pommel of his blade, the young man looked at Ramsay. "You are nothing."
"From the moment you are born, you have been nothing," Rex said with a tone as hard as the earth itself. "You who craves a legacy to never be forgotten will die like no one," Rex whispered to him, making Ramsay kiss the bloodstained ground.
"Tie him up." Reaching behind, the oldest Crozzo watched without any hint of emotion as Ramsay Snow was tied up by his youngest brother. While Reve was the most kindhearted of the three, and he was the oldest. It was Rex who was the most dangerous and deadly of the three. If he was given a mission, he will do it without any emotion. Unlike him, who had to dull his heart after countless of these things. Rex was a natural, contrary to the kindhearted child he was once. "A thousand lives for a thousand cuts," Reinhardt said. The oldest of the three noticed the flinch of most of the people around him save for his youngest brother.
"but."
"A thousand lives," Reinhardt said as he sheathed his sword on his waist. Reaching behind him, the young man pulled out a pair of scalpels with snakes engraved on the handle. "A thousand cuts."
Knowing what his brother wanted, Rex ripped off all of Ramsay's clothes, leaving him naked. "A naked man has a few secrets." Hearing how emotionless Rex was made him shiver inside. "But a flayed man has none."
"Rex, leave us," Reinhardt said to his younger brother who nodded. Turning around, the youngest took some of the new people with him and led them out. "I'm a reasonable man. But you harmed my brother." Reinhardt said, remembering how injured Rex was when he dragged Ramsay to him a week ago. He used a favor from a snake without any regret to make sure Rex was safe but it never did.
His only reply was a bloody blob spat on his face from Ramsay who grinned.
"You're lucky it was me who sentenced you. If it was Rex, you would be." Moving his hands, the eldest of the Crozzo danced with the blades, cutting a part of the skin, making Ramsay scream. "You would be wishing for death while alive."
Throughout the whole day, the guards of the room cringed and shivered as screams and cries echoed accompanying the music of steel sliding through flesh.
Rex soon came back after a few hours, dressed in a school uniform, and looked at his older brother. Reinhardt had no blood on him save for his face and his fingers. Ramsay Snow was now nothing but a bunch of muscles, his skin removed.
"It hurts..." Moaned Ramsay.
"Brother. You have a date with a pink elf for a favor." Rex reminded him gently while reaching for the flask on his side. Opening it, the smell of alcohol filled the room. Not even taking a look at Ramsay, Rex threw the alcohol on his flayed form making him scream. "I asked the others to choose your clothes."
"Thank you, Rex. I wish it was Kallen instead." The oldest brother said with a pout.
"Stop that. Now go," Rex said with a smile as he looked at his oldest brother. "And don't tell her anything about me getting kidnapped by Kiana all the time."
"I won't," Reinhard said with a smile as if he did not flay a man alive.
"You won't die just yet, Ramsay," Rex said with an emotionless tone and a serene smile.
Reinhard walked to his room and ignored the small boat carried by the men towards the room where Ramsay and Rex were. 'He earned his title.'
Remembering that day when a group of Rouge Valkyries collaborated with terrorists. He had arrived and saw his little brother. The star on his armor was stained crimson with his swords and spear. The crimson star and the state of his enemies and as the only survivor earned him a moniker.
Rexley 'The northern star, the crimson star of despair,' Crozzo.
But there was a title he had been given by the personnel from the order of the Fire Moths.
The joyful lord of the earth. Rex Gaius.
"I was wondering where you were." A beautiful voice said and Reinhardt did not need to know who it was. Putting on his new clothes, the young man felt arms around his form. Looking up, the young man saw a beautiful pair of eyes enhanced by pink locks. She was a beauty that transcended the limitations of humankind.
"I was busy." the young man said, ignoring the feeling of her breasts on the back of his head.
"Well, not anymore." Jumping gracefully and doing a curtsey, Reinhard chuckled and did a bow in front of her. "Would you escort me, Sir Reinhardt ?"
"Of course, Milady," Reinhardt said with a smile. He was shocked to see a passed-out Reve sleeping with his lap on Rita's lap. The maid was reading a book while playing with Reve's hair,
The elf and the knight walked hand in hand until Reinhard drove them on his bike. Rin pushed on her studies in her room in the Crozzo house. Smiling, she looked around and flipped a switch that had the label commence Reinhardt Romance operations.
