4 idiots and romance

A bad idea

"We are gonna die." Said Rin as she looked at the folders in front of her. 

"Yes," Replied Rex calmly while not minding the weight on his back. What weight, you ask? Well, a certain white cat had essentially claimed piggybacks as her sole right while Rex just let her do what she wanted. 

"Well, it is for big Bro Rein so I am in," Kiana said with a smile, clinging to Rex tightly and it reminded Rin of a Koala. 

"If you say so." 

If you were wondering where they were located, they were inside one of the Crozzo nuclear shelters hidden in numerous locations, all of which are connected with each other. Kiana had followed Rex because she wanted to spend more time with him and she also missed him a lot. 

"Well, I have gathered the information of who the rest of the order wants to end up with Rein," Rin said, showing them a folder while Rex rose his brow at a sigil on the wax. It belonged to one of the new junior knights that had just been knighted and happened to be a squire of one of his distant... Oh. The young man suddenly pinched the bridge of his nose before sighing. 

"Oh?" Kiana smiled as she got off her friend's back and took the folder. She looked at the little fox and at the sigil before a smile appeared on her face. "Ooh, ~ seems like the Yae branch of House Crozzo will have another member- Nya!" Her teasing was stopped and her face burnt bright red as Rex effortlessly picked her up using her armpits. 

"Stop teasing the little fox, Kiana," Rex said as he gently set her back on the ground. "But still, do make sure there won't be any fox cubs in less than five years, or else, the Crozzo knight order would have one less member." Poor Rin. The pink-haired girl flushed red as she got teased by her elder sibling figures. "But still, while the little mad prince is a hothead, he is a sweet kid. So, you have my blessing." 

"Just don't let Reinhardt know," Kiana told her in the most serious tone she had. She remembered the time when Bianka had told the oldest of the Crozzos that she might have fallen in love with Reve and it resulted in many of the orders stopping him from trying to kidnap and put Reve on a tower while acting as a guard. He had planned to only allow someone who had beaten him to court Reve. It stopped when he immediately tried to -in Rex's own words- simp at Kallen. 

Strangely, Reinhardt was lenient with her and even allowed her to often go inside Rex's room and 'Borrow' some of his hoodies and jackets. But it was strange! She loved Mei more than 100% but Rex is someone that had always been by her side and she does not want o hurt him as Kallen did to Reinhardt. 

"Where is big bro Rein, anyway?" Kiana asked and the surrogate siblings shrugged. Waiting until Rex got on a seat, the Kaslana boldly claimed his lap as her own while guiding his hand on top of her head.

Reinhardt Crozzo had a nice night. Kasumi was still asleep on their shared bed still covered in a blanket. Her gear was on the cabinet by the bed along with his weapons. They developed a habit of sleeping together with their back pressed against each other and they still do it from time to time. Also, the sex was great and no one should know. With Reve on a trip with Bianka and Rita, (a fact that he almost has never permitted if it was not for Rin pouting at him with those fox cub eyes of hers) the oldest of the brothers was in charge. 

On the streets by himself, the young man carried his groceries in a paper bag. The knight always preferred the silence or the sounds of nature and he had made plans involving a farm. A farm that he will have once he retired in a decade or so. Lost in his thoughts, the young man haven't even noticed that he had just passed by Kallen and Sakura on their usual morning jog. 

Sadly, the two noticed it. 

Sakura braced herself as she saw the idiot appear from the corner. Now that they are in the same street, she knew that the onslaught of flirting will commence in five seconds.
