It was around dusk when Rex found himself alone near one of his safehouses. It was a small run-down store that was equipped with a couch and some of his equipment. He had often gone here to have a place he could be alone and reminisce.

Entering a hidden door, the young man smiled as he looked at his study. It was a simple room, hidden underground, filled with fond memories. Slumping on a chair behind his desk, the young Crozzo let a small smile appear on his face at the picture frame on his desk.

A reminder of the old days. In a picture of him and Kiana wearing their middle school uniforms, she had a glare aimed at him while he had the same stoic look as he looked back at her.

The day they started middle school was the last time they talked properly. He had been busy with school and his job as a Crozzo hunter, and they fell distant with Kiana in another class.

'At least I did not end up like Rein.' the young man thought, taking out a cigarette before lighting it. The smoke increased as he took a deep breath. He was not a heavy smoker, just sometimes, depending on the day.

"Fu Hua, she looked and felt familiar," Rex whispered as he remembered the only woman his guard willingly and subconsciously let his guard down for. It was both confusing and worrying that someone other than his family did it, but why?

Shrugging, the young crow of the Crozzos nibbled on his cigar as ideas and hypotheses appeared on his mind. Tapping on his desk, the young man raised his hand and summoned his Soulium bow, created specifically for him by Granduncle Otto. The bow was a simple traditional recurve bow without any arrows, yet, it was not normal. Watching the string manifest, Rex gently pulled the string to half of its draw and released it while watching the string manifest. A needle-sized hole appeared on the wall under a crater several inches deep with spiderweb cracks surfacing around it. Twirling the bow around his hand, the young man smiled as it turned into a double-barreled revolver, complementing his nature to adapt to any situation.

"Pseudo-Divine-Key, Judgement," Rex whispered with a smirk while standing up. "I do have a fight today." Applying a green hair dye to his dark hair, the young man covered the roots with a cap. He fixed his appearance and nodded at his reflection. Making sure his pack and lighter were secure, the young man went to an alley where the fights were held.

Once he was there, the young man lit another cigar and looked at his new challengers, a blue-haired guy with a red baseball cap and a brown-haired girl wearing a red dress.

"What's up, little man?" Rex said with a small welcoming smile, his stoic dark eyes softened a bit as he looked at them. Blowing out a puff of smoke, the Crow continued. "Did the smoke catch your attention?"

Hearing the young man in front of him, the crow thought about it.

"Tell you what," removing the cancer stick in his mouth, the crow smiled at the duo. "If you beat me in a friendly little rap battle, I'll get off your case." Chuckling, the crow of the Crozzo bit into the cancer stick and smiled as the duo accepted.

'If Fu Hua finds out about this, I'm dead.' The crow thought, wondering why he was worried about disappointing the young woman he just met earlier because he knew he did not have any romantic feelings for her.

Red eyes gleamed with annoyance as a young woman with a distinct lack of a chest glared at the man beside her. White hair with red streaks tied into a ponytail moving along with her head's movements. For his part, the young man with black hair and blue streaks looked back at her, gold orbs staring back at her.

"What?" Asked the man, looking at her only to raise his hands when she elbowed him.

"He gets this from you." The woman huffed before holding his hand, a serene smile on her face. "He hides a lot in that stoic face of his like me, though."
