Chapter Three- Zayn's P.O.V.-
Perrie pulled up to my house in her white mustang. She rolled down the passenger window and smiled.
"Get in loser, we're going shopping!" She giggled. "Kidding, kidding come on. Let's go to my place."
I opened the car door and hopped in.
"What's wrong?" She asked me.
"P-Perrie, I need to tell you something." I looked down at my hands.
"What do you mean?" She asked with a confused look on her face.
"Look, you're an amazing person Perrie, you really are. You're fun, sweet, and kind." I spoke. "But I think we should break-up. I don't know if I'm ready for a relationship yet and life isn't going very well for me right now. I'm sorry to do this to you. I just need help gaining my friendship back with someone."
"It's Liam isn't it?" She asked quietly, placing a hand on my shoulder.
I looked out of the window for a second and then down at my hands again.
"Y-Yes." I whispered, barely getting the words out of my mouth. "He's always been a great friend to me and if I date someone, it just tears our friendship apart. This is why I need your help. I know that you're a very well known girl in our grade and I never thought that I'd be here talking to you right now-"
She took her hand off of my shoulder and shook her head.
"Zayn..." She spoke quietly. "Everyone thinks of me as this bad girl image because I'm the 'most popular' or 'the one who everyone likes.' I'm really not. I lost my father a few years ago and all I have is my mom. Times were really hard for us then, and they still are. Seeing people struggle really hurts me because I've been in their position before. I'm always here for you if you need anything, you know that right?"
I looked up at her and nodded.
"Come here you!" She laughed, pulling me in for a hug. "We'll talk more once we get to my place."

We pulled up to her house(or mansion I should say) and both hopped out of the car, shutting the doors behind us.
She rummaged through her purse looking for her keys and when she finally found them, she unlocked the door.
"Where is your mom?" I asked, looking around at the dark lit place.
"She's out of town for the week with her boyfriend. They left Thursday so they'll be back sometime next Thursday." She responded, turning the lights on in the living-room.
I nodded and took my shoes off before standing by the door awkwardly.
"Come sit on the couch." She said, taking her shoes off as well.
I followed her and we sat down on opposite ends of the couch before she turned the tv on.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians appeared on the screen and I laughed.
"What? Are you jealous of my tv interests?" She gasped, holding her hand to her chest dramatically.
"No, no, I just don't like Kim. That's all." I responded giggling.(A/N: I actually don't mind Kim but oh well.)
"Me either. Ugh, Khloe is so perfect though!" She groaned pointing to the tv and frowning.
I smiled and looked up at the tv.
"So, you wanted to talk... About Liam." Perrie mentioned, changing the subject and taking my eyes off of the tv.
I cleared my throat and turned to her as she did the same, both of us sitting criss-crossed.
"Right, err, well, do you remember the big fight in eighth grade where Louis beat Liam up?" I asked.
She flinched, "Unfortunately, yes. I felt so bad for Liam that day."
"Right, well that day, I got really mad at Louis." I said. "But, the other day, he talked to me and said that he would try and help me find someone to date. I agreed being my obnoxious self and told him that I would go to the party. I told Liam about me going and pretty much blew him off by going to your party instead of hanging with him. Then, after your party, I walked over to his house and he let me over but barely talked to me. I was drunk. When I woke-up the next morning, I went downstairs and waited for him to wake-up. Once he eventually did, I felt bad for being so rude to him and talking about how bad my life was when his is horrible. He ran up to his room and locked himself in there before he began crying. I tried to talk to him but I decided to leave instead and not bother him. Then, I went home and talked to my mom, but not about a whole lot. After that, I called you up and now, here I am."
Perrie rubbed her chin for a minute and then smiled to herself.
"Zayn, I think Liam loves you."
