Zayn's P.O.V.- I knew that Liam didn't get out very much. That was about to change.
"Where are we going?" He asked me, holding onto my hand as I dragged him.
"You'll see." I looked back at him, smiling.
There was a night-club on the other side of my house that I went to a lot. Usually, it helped me with stress; and was my thinking place. Now, I'm taking Liam there to have some fun.
He jerked me back when he saw the club and stopped.
"Th-The night-club?" He gasped. "Zayn... I can't go here. You know that I don't like clubs!"
"Oh Liam, come on! We're seniors for crying out loud!" I begged him.
"Zayn..."
"No, Liam. We're going and that's that." I spoke serious.
He sighed and I guided him until we finally reached the club. Bradford Night Club the sign read.
I noticed Liam's hands become sweaty in the palms of mine. Stopping in front of the sign, I turned to him and placed both of my hands on his shoulders.
"Look, just stay with me. Okay?" I told him, looking him straight in the eyes.
He looked at the front doors and gulped before nodding his head slowly.
"I mean it too. Stay with me at all times. If you can't find me, call my number. I will have my phone with me the whole time." I said.
He nodded again and held my hand.
"Wh- What was that for?" I shivered.
"I'm j-just a bit nervous." He smiled. "You don't care, do you?"
I looked down at our hands before looking around to see if anyone was around.
"I guess not." I shrugged, not sure if this was the right thing to do.
Sure, Liam and I have been friends forever, but this felt weird. I've only held a girls hand, and Liam's when we were younger. Yes, Liam and I have slept together, on the couch now and sometimes when we were little kids. Why did I feel strange in this position, though?
He gripped my hand tighter and shook.
"Liam, what's wrong?" I asked, placing my other hand on his waist.
"L-look behind m-me." He closed his eyes and stood as stiff as a tree.
Louis, Niall, and Harry.
Just when I wanted to finally have fun, they had to ruin it.
I let go of Liam's hand and waist before they reached us.
Niall smirked at me and crossed his arms across his chest.
"Oh, I can't wait until you both get married. I wonder how many people will support you two. Or should I say, how many will beat you up?" Louis said, brushing his shoulders.
Harry seemed a bit strange today, standing back further and not saying a word.
"Anyway," Louis continued. "I was expecting to beat up your little 'boyfriend' another day on a school day, but here and now is fine too."
Liam looked up at me, turning away from Louis before mouthing, "Let him do it."
I shook my head at him and looked at Harry.
"Why is Harry so quiet today?" I asked, looking right at Louis.
He looked shocked at what I just said, "I-I don't know why. Maybe he's just tired."
I smiled and placed my hands on my hips.
"Look, just let us beat your dumb boyfriend up and then you can kiss him all that you want!" Niall said, angrily.
Liam looked at me again with a tear falling from his left eye.
"So... Is Liam just going to stand there, or?" Louis asked impatiently.
"You're not beating him up, Louis." I gritted my teeth.
"Or am I..." He smirked, walking closer to Liam.
Maybe I was called 'gay' because of mine and Liam's friendship, but I had to save him. Even if it was in an awkward situation.
I pulled Liam closer to me and held him tightly.
"Louis, don't!" I pleaded.
Just then, a bouncer came out of the club and walked over to us.
"What's going on here?" The bouncer asked.
His badge read, 'Paul.'
Louis, Harry, and Niall bolted off, leaving Liam and I. I let go of Liam and faced Paul.
I cleared my throat, "I was just protecting my friend, sir."
"Liam?" He asked, pointing to him.
"Y-Yes, sir." I responded.
How did he know Liam?
"Hello Paul." Liam spoke quietly, looking down at the ground.
"How do you know Liam?" I asked Paul.
"I've known Liam ever since he was a little lad. I'm his father Geoff's friend." He held out his hand for me to shake.
I shook it and smiled.
"What are you doing at the club, Liam?" Paul asked him.
Liam looked up, "I just came with a friend."
"Alright, but be careful you two." He warned us. "It's a bit crazy in there." "We will, sir." I responded.
He patted my back and ruffled Liam's hair before heading back inside the club. Liam fixed his hair and slumped with his hands in his pockets.
"Paul is going to tell my dad." He sighed. "I'm going to be in a lot of trouble, Zayn."
"Liam, come on. Live life for a change! You never get out! Just have fun for me please." I begged him.
"Okay, but if I'm not having fun, we're leaving." He sternly spoke.
"Deal."
Liam followed closely behind me as I walked into the club. Paul was standing at the door, letting people in.
"Go ahead." He said smiling and pointing inside of the club.
We both nodded and walked inside. The smell of alcohol and sweat filled my nose when I walked in. Just like I remember it. Liam stood closer to the door and looked around.
"Come on, let's go dance!" I laughed, taking him by the hand.
"I-I don't kn-" He started, but I cut him off when I pulled him closer to me.
"Follow me." I spoke.
I took his hand and dragged him to the middle of the dance floor, surrounded by drunk bodies. He started to shake but I placed my hands around his waist.
"Calm down, Liam. It's okay, you've got me." I calmed him.
He stopped shaking and looked around, probably seeing if anyone was watching us.
"No one cares Liam. Don't worry about anyone. Just us, got it?" I asked, pulling him closer to me.
He shrugged before smiling and placing his hands in my hair, ruffling it.
"See, it's just us." I smiled, kissing his forehead.
He giggled and brought his hands down to my neck.
For some reason, the music was slow, but it fit this perfect moment.
"I've never danced with anyone." Liam whispered, quietly.
"Well now that's changed." I spoke, rubbing up and down his sides.
"Zayn, this is really nice. Thank you." He grinned.
"You're welcome." I giggled.

After a while, the music changed and people were dancing on each other. Including Liam and I.
Liam laughed with his head back, as I slowly moved on him. I danced my stupidest dance and he couldn't stop laughing. I could definitely hear that laugh from a mile away. It was cherish-able.
The beat in the club was nice and the music was loud, sending off a good vibe.
"We should do this more often!" Liam yelled over the music.
I laughed, "Yeah we should!"
Suddenly, Liam pulled me close to him and dragged his finger across my jaw-line. He whispered into my ear, "We should do this a lot more often."
Where did this Liam come from? I wasn't complaining though. If I had to be honest, I loved this Liam.
He began to nibble on my ear and I moaned.
"Liam, wh-what are you doing?" I asked, holding his waist.
He pulled away and smiled.
"You told me to have a fun time." He smirked.
This boy will be the death of me!
"We should probably get going." I stated, yelling a bit still over the music.
Liam frowned and tilted his head.
"I know you liked that." He said smiling.
It was true, I did like it, but we had to leave if he didn't want to get in trouble.
"Liam, now. We have to go if you don't want grounded. Gosh, we all can only imagine what would happen if you were grounded." I sarcastically said.
He pouted like a puppy and batted his eyes. No, Zayn. Don't fall for it!
I looked away and then finally back at him to regain myself.
"No, let's go."
"The one time when I'm actually enjoying myself." He muttered under his breath as he followed behind me.
I felt bad for taking him away from having fun but he couldn't get in trouble. His parents would be furious if he wasn't home by a certain time. I took him outside of the doors and to the parking lot.
It was about 10:15 on a Friday. Liam had to be home by 11:00.
"Zayn, I don't have to be home until 45 minutes!" Liam complained.
"You know your parents will want you home before that Liam." I stated.
"Maybe this is why I never have fun. Every time that I try to, I can't even enjoy myself!" He started to walk the opposite direction of his house, towards the creek.
I stopped him, "Liam, stop. I know that you hate me for doing this, but we have to go. Maybe we can come here again tomorrow. I'll sneak you out if I have to. Just please come with me for right now."
He turned around towards me and nodded.
"Okay, but only if we can come here tomorrow." Liam said, smiling.
"Fine." I agreed.
