To Harry's disappointment Draco had hardly talked to him since he was given the truth serum. Of course he didn't. It was embarrassing, maybe even humiliating. Draco avoided Harry as much as he could, obviously. There wasn't anywhere to run either. The ministry had been taken over and to Harry's disappointment so was Hogwarts. The only place he had ever felt safe was now gone... He thought about every summer that he spent counting the days down to see his real home again. Every time Dudley would make him feel like shit at every opportunity he got. Every time he was sent to his cupboard hungry. Every time he wore Dudleys old uniforms to schools because his aunt and uncle never bothered spending a dime on him. He did not even want to imagine where all his friends where. He thought about Luna, about Neville, about Dean, and Seamus. Where were they? What happened after the Death Eaters had taken over.

After a while everyone started moving back to a home. Lupin had moved in with his wife, and the Weasleys had went back to the burrow. Now it seemed that it was only Harry and Draco there. Since he was 17 he did not legally have to go home. Besides he didn't have much of a choice.

"Why are you still living there Harry? You know you have a home and a family waiting for you at the burrow?" asked Ron

"I don't know Ron. Honestly I keep asking myself why I keep holding on. Draco isn't the same person I fell in love with. I can't keep living with him wondering if he will ever love me again."

"Harry this isn't healthy, move back with us. Billy will be getting married next week. We need you, hell my mother is begging for help around the house with so much going on at home."

"A wedding? Now? Doesn't it seem extremely inappropriate? Especially with everything going on?"

"Maybe that's why they're doing it. With everything going on they're probably holding on to what matters most. Each other."

"Okay Ron. I think it would be better if I left. Honestly ever since Sirius..... I just can't seem to sleep at night. Especially when I sleep in his bedroom."

"It's for the best Harry."

Harry stood at the corner of the room looking lazily at the guests. He held a fire whiskey in his hand, looking at everyone laugh and make small talk. He wondered if maybe today was his lucky day. He did look great and he hoped that he'd get asked to dance.

The thought of Draco still lingered but I guess he had finally come to terms with it. He understood that despite what he had said there wasn't any actual effort after that night. Harry wondered why he'd do something like that? Draco had gotten his hopes just to be turned down. It didn't matter. He had already moved out and he was actually happy living with the Weasleys. Although Ron could sure fucking snore. Harry had probably one of the absolute fucking worse summers of his life. He just wanted to have a good night. After all it was his birthday.

He just stood there like an idiot trying to get his mind off things. When finally after lingering so much he spotted Draco in the crowd. He was wearing white robes which looked great on him.

Harry sighed in disappointment. Draco was honestly the last person he wanted to see there. As if a wedding wasn't loud and crowded enough to make Harry nervous. Now he had two problems.

Harry's POV:
I don't want to do this. Honestly did he have to come? Who the fuck even invited him?

"Having fun Harry?" he heard Ron say as he approached him.

"Oh yeah. One of the best nights of my life." he answered sarcastically

"What's up your ass?"

Harry did not answer but he kept starring at Draco from across the room. He was talking with a couple of guests and laughing at whatever they were taking about.
