Draco ran out panicked from the burrow and was gone before anyone could see him. Now home safe from everything that had happened, he sat in his chair with water dripping from his hair after a hot shower. He looked down trying to think. For the life of him he couldn't remember anything. He knew that drinking was involved, that was obvious enough. He had a pounding headache. The only thing he could think was Harry's angry tone as he kicked him out of the room which made Draco pretty bummed out. By the end of it he decided to put the thought behind him and simply try to get some sleep.

*the night before*
Draco had pretty much gotten bored at this point. It wasn't that the wedding was boring, he just felt really out of place. Despite making small talk it was awkward being around so many strangers. He was just about ready to call it a night when Hermione sat next to him.
"Hey Malfoy."
"Granger. Surprised to see you sitting here."
"Yeah well Ron and Harry are having the time of their lives and I just think I might be wanted somewhere else."
Despite Hermione odd choice of company Draco was actually really happy. No one had voluntarily sat down with him all night.
He gave her a smile and started a conversation.
"We'll if anything I'm glad you decided to sit with me."
Hermione gave him a sarcastic laugh.
"Thats pretty funny. The only other interaction I had with you was back at Hogwarts when I broke your nose for calling me a mud blood."
Draco chocked on his drink.
"OMG I DID THAT?!"
"It was a long time ago. Back when you barely started attending Hogwarts and you were still brain washed by your father. God you were a spoiled little snobby kid."
".....I'm really sorry Granger."
"Don't stress about it Malfoy. I doubt you remember any of it. I'm just glad despite everything you didn't go back to being that little shit i used to know.
"We'll if anything I'm glad you broke my nose. I deserved it."
They both laughed.
"I wish I could have apologized sooner though."
"You did actually."
"I did?"
"Yeah when you started dating Harry."
Dracos face dropped.
"Kinda shitty of me to not have done it sooner no?"
"We'll you were pretty embarrassed that a girl broke your nose."
Draco laughed.
"I was a coward."
"Still are."
"What?"
"Malfoy you've been pretty much ignoring Harry this whole time. Can I ask what's that about?."
Draco sighed.
"I'm embarrassed...."
"For what saying you wanted to fuck him?"
"SHUT UP. I don't want anyone to hear you. That was the truth serum talking I would never have said that."
"Malfoy I doubt Harry minds. He is in love with you after all."
"Was, he was in love with me Granger."
