"So did you do it?"

"Yeah Huh."

"How did it go."

"I got nervous and he ended up asking me out."

"......well at least you got a date."

"Yeah I guess."

"You don't really look excited Harry."

"I'm sorry but it's just not Malfoy. I'm sure Cedric is nice but he's not him."

"Harry it's just a fantasy. You don't know Malfoy."

"I don't know Cedric either."

"Just go on the date. You have nothing to loose."

".......yeah ok."

Harry sat at the three broomsticks alone waiting for his date. He tapped his foot nervously but tried to stay calm.

Then he saw Cedric come through the door. He came over to his table, gave Harry a smile, and sat down in front of him.

"Hey Harry."

"Hey Cedric."

"You look really Nice."

"Thanks so do you."

The date went on. They talked about things you'd usually talk about in a date. Harry was having an okay time but nothing extraordinary.

"Remind me again why this is a good idea."

"Draco you haven't left the Slytherin common room in a week. Not even for class. Seriously what's going on."

Draco tensed up. The truth was that Draco was worried. He hadn't heard from his dad in a month now. He usually didn't mind it because he wouldn't have to get no shitty letter written in messy hand writing but now it was worrying him.

Lucius only wrote him letters for two reasons. Either to tell him to come home for the summer or to tell him off for getting in trouble at school. Draco didn't like it but at least by reading the letters he knew he was still alright.

"Just don't want to be in class Blaise."

"Well then you should at least have a drink with me."

Draco sighed but still forced himself to go with Blaise to the three broomsticks because he'd hope it'd make him feel better.

The first thing Draco saw when he walked in was Harry. He was with Cedric. Draco suddenly felt pissed off but he didn't understand why.

He sat in the corner with Blaise. Blaise ordered some drinks and talked to Draco just like he would on any other hangout but Draco wasn't listening. He kept looking at Harry from the corner of his eye.

"Uhhhh Draco? Bud?"

"You good?"

Draco didn't answer. He kept watching them. That's when he saw Cedric get closer to Harry. Harry seemed a bit uncomfortable but didn't say anything.

Blaise looked over his shoulder to see what Draco was looking at.

"What are you? Ohhhhhhhh. Damn Draco I didn't know you were gay."

"What?"

"Come on I can see you looking at Cedric with a death stare."

"I just don't like Cedric."

"Yeah Huh."

"Can you just please shut the fuck up Blaise."

Cedric now was really close to Harry. Harry was blushing a lot but not in a good way. It was more of a nervous blush and he seemed sweaty. He tried pushing him away politely but Cedric just kept getting closer.

That's when Draco saw Cedric lean in and suddenly Draco wasn't in his seat anymore but rather across the room.

He marched up to their table. When Harry saw Draco he tensed up. Draco didn't say anything. He just turned to Cedric.

"Uhhh can I help you?"

"Yeah actually I can see Potter here isn't really comfortable so I'm going to very nicely ask you to leave him the fuck alone before I sock you in the face."

"How about you mind your own business Malfoy. Go back to being the piece of shit you are and leave us alone."

Without a warning Draco punched Cedric across the face. He fell of his chair and everyone screamed.

The owner came and yelled at Draco, cursing and telling him to get the fuck out. Harry was paralyzed, glued to his seat not knowing what to do. Draco gave him an apologetic look and walked out.

Blaise ran after him. Draco was screaming and kicking the ground in anger.

"Hey Draco calm down it's not a big deal. You've gotten kicked out of other places."

"Shut the fuck up Blaise. Just shut up."

"Draco calm down."

"IM NOT GOING TO CALM DOWN. MY LIFE IS SHIT RIGHT NOW IF YOU HAVENT NOTICED. JUST LEAVE. PLEASE JUST LEAVE."

Blaise knew Draco would push him away no matter what he said. The best thing was to do what he said and just leave. So he did.

Draco's POV
What the fuck is wrong with you. Why would you do something like that. You just ruined his date. God your so fucking stupid.

Harry came out after a minute or two and saw Draco. He walked towards him but didn't say a word. Draco just stood across from him feeling so embarrassed.

"I-I'm sorry. Im so sorry. I fucked up your date didn't I?"

Harry didn't say anything.

"Do you want me to apologize to Cedric?"

Harry was so puzzled. He had barely spoken to Draco and yet here he was. Apologizing for punching a guy just for making Harry uncomfortable. Harry didn't think it was right. Just punching anyone wouldn't fix the problem but what Cedric had said to Draco was so incredibly rude and hurtful that he didn't blame him for what he did.

"Hmmmm no I think he deserved it. Don't you?" He said chuckling.

Harry's laugh made Draco feel relief.

"Guess he did."

"Thanks for looking out for me but next time I'd like it if you didn't throw a punch at my date."

"Won't happen again."

"Why did you do it?"

"If I'm saying the truth I don't know. I guess I just know how it feels to want someone to leave you the fuck alone but too scared to say anything."

Harry stood silent for a while.

"Hey Potter Im really sorry about being a dick. If you still want I'd love to have a butter beer with you. This time I promise not to knock someone out."

"I'd like that." Harry said with a smile.

"By the way you can calm me Harry."
