monday 17th january, 2022after dropping a few pieces off to ali, i went to go pick up some shoes from this reseller. i don't buy from resellers. these are free shoes in exchange for promo.
he just started reselling and he doesn't have many customers. however, if the shoes are nice i just might consider. but i'm a go straight to the store kinda girl.
my mom had left early in the morning. she said something about flying to texas but i didn't pay attention to her. i was done with her. i made my decision last night.
for her, the woman that allowed me to be in that situation in the first place, to stand there and basically tell me it's not that deep is wild to me.
as her daughter she should at least try to understand me at at least instead of her telling me to take it on the chin. that shit is crazy.
shit that's been affecting me my whole life. the way i think, the way i manoeuvre, the way i interact, all because of my upbringing and she gon tell me to sweep it under the rug... lmao.
i had reached my destination and saw ole dude out by his car trunk. he was she some dude some shoes i think trying to sell them.
i got out my car and locked it before walking over there.
"wassup kj," he said as he reached out for a hug. i dapped him up instead cos i didn't know him from no where to be giving out hugs.
"wassup," i nodded, "lemme see the shoes then," i let him call me kj because it was on my name on instagram where he found me.
"aight i got some Dior B22's in black for you," he said pulling them out, "these Chanel's and some Yeezy 350's,"
"lemme see the 350's," i smiled. i loved shoes. shoes were my happiness.
he pulled out four pairs but the one that caught my attention were the grey ones with a little orange. i picked them up and analysed the shoe properly. i knew how to tell what was fake and what was real but these were real.
"how much for em?" i asked looking up at him.
"i told you these for free in exchange for promo," he chuckled lightly, "you ain't gotta pay,"
"yeah i know.. so how much?" i asked again. like nigga you get money AND promo i'm tryna help YOU.
"no you ain't gotta pay me for real," he shook his head. i sucked my teeth and pulled out $300 from my pouch. i knew they were roughly around that price. i may have given him a little more but it didn't matter. he was a reseller not selling fake shoes and i appreciated that.
"ima be back for some more shit and don't worry you still get your promo," i smiled walking off. as i turned so i could face my front i accidentally bumped into someone causing the shoe box to fall out my hand.
