Mia lay in bed all that she felt was numb. Her dad was dead and she hated it. She felt emotional and she felt as if she was never going to be happy again.

Tom wasn't just her dad. It had been the two of them for so long and she was never that close to josh. She felt as if she had no family.

Mia looked as Simon walked in and sat on the bed. He was worried over her. He brushed her hair out of her face and looked to her and smiled

"Are you okay?" He asked as she smiled

"I don't know everything is a mess and I hate it. I just want thongs to be okay but my dad is dead and it will never be okay again. I just...the way he died it was awful and I never expected it" she said as she started to cry

He wrapped an arm around her and held her close and smiled "I know how hard it is and I know that you are struggling but I love you and I want you to know I am always here and it will be okay. I am here, I love you and I am going no where and it's all going to be okay"Simon said as mia looked to him and smiled

Mia knew that everything was now different and how she didn't know how she felt over it all. All that Mia knew was that everything was going to change

Mia walked into the kitchen and smiled as she saw Simon "there's an assembly in memory of your dad. If you want to go I'll come with you I don't care over all this keeping us secret I care over you and making it work" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"I never want to put you through it" she said as he looked to her and smiled

"You have out me through nothing. I love you and pretending not to be together is stupid it's nothing. All I care over is making sure that your okay. You lost your dad out of no where and that isn't something that you most get over" simon said as mia looked to him and smiled as she wrapped her arms over his neck and pulled him close

She knew how messy it was but she was grateful that she had Simon

Mia got to the school as she walked into toms classroom and smiled as she picked up a photo of her that sat on his desk and smiled as she looked to it

Mia knew how she missed him and how much it hurt her and how much that she missed him and how she'd have anything to have him back but she knew that her dad was gone

Mia picked up his hoodie and wrapped it around herself and smiled as she felt a tear as it rolled down her face. Mia knew how Tom was dead and how she had to find a way to cope with it all. All that she knew was that it wasn't going to be easy
