Mia was finding things hard. She knew that her dad was gone and that he was dead and she hated it. She hated that she felt as if he had missed so much in her life.

She hated that she never got to tell him how much she was grateful for hun. For everything that he had done. He had raised her and she loved him for that

He always put her first and she wished that she could tell him how much he meant to her. She knew how she and Simon were together and Mia knew that she wanted Tom to be around for when they got married and for what they had kids

Mia sat in the kitchen with toms hoodie wrapped around her. It still smelt like him and that comforted her more than anything.

She looked to the photo that he had on his desk. She was around twelve and when he took her to a football watch and it was one of her favourite mementoes of him. Mia knew that toms death was sudden and her grief was up and down and she knew how much that she was struggling with it all

"Hey are you okay?" Simon asked as he walked into the room. Mia looked to hun and smiled

"I've been better" she said as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled jet into a hug and smiled

"I know but I'm here for you and it will be okay" he said as she looked to him and smiled. She knew they she was grateful that he was there for her

Mia stood in the church with Simon. She was trying to plan toms funeral but it was hard as she had no idea what he wanted

"Are you okay?" Simon asked as he looked to his girlfriend who smiled

"I shouldn't be doing this alone. Josh should be here but he's drinking a lot since it happened. I just can't help but think over everything and over my mum who I don't remember it's just hard si" she said as Simon looked to her and smiled

"I know and no matter what you decide I know he will be proud of you" Simon said as mia looked to him and smiled as she placed a hand in his cheek and smiled as she leant in and kissed him

"What would I do without you" she said as he looked to her and smiled

Mia sat in the flat and looked as Simon walked into the room and smiled "who were you on the phone too?" He asked as she smirked

"Christine. I'm going for a meeting over going back to work. I love my job and maybe we're going to set up something for my dad. He loved Waterloo road and there's no Waterloo road without Tom clarkson I feel as if we need something to remember him" Mia said

Simon looked to her and smiled "your right. I know that he'd be so proud of you and you won't get over loosing your dad but you'll find a way to deal with it and I'll be here for you no matter what" he said as she looked to him and smiled

Mia knew it wasn't going to be easy but she was going to do what it took and keep Tom clarksons memory alive
