chapter 24: a lie

Sky: I think I should get going.. don't forget what I told you..

Sky lightly touches Jason's shoulder while turning his head to the right so he can see kyro's reaction. He then smiles and walks towards the door and leaves..

Leaving Jason, kyro and Dino the only ones left in the dining room..

Kyro: what were you two talking about? Also why was the word marriage brung up?

Jason felt kind of questioned and put in the spot he felt like he couldn't tell the truth..not just yet..

Jason: he came here to invite me to his wedding. he wanted to make amends and invite me personally to his wedding.

Dino: pérate qué??!! (Wait what??!!)
So that jerk had the audacity after what he had put you through in the past to come here and give you an invitation to his wedding!! Ese hombre está loco!! (That man is crazy!) I hope you deny the invitation because there is no way in hell I'm letting you walk in that wedding..

Jason: obviously I said no..

Kyro: Jason are you telling us the truth?!

Jason: yeah of course!

Kyro: I'm sorry but something feels off about this.... I think it's better if you don't allow that man to enter our home again...

Jason definitely fell in the spot but he also felt a bit attacked so he reacted but in the worst way..

Jason: who do you think you are to tell me who I can and cannot receive in My home.. this is not your home you're just a simple employee!!

For the first time in his life kyro out of place that he no longer belongs.. so he simply bowed in front of Jason and instantly apologize..

Kyro: I am bowing in front of you right now and I want to say I am truly sorry I was out of place obviously I don't belong here...

He straightens up his body and walks away from Dino and Jason... Dino was in complete shocked..

Dino: kyro wait!

Kyro: no Dino Jason's right I have to know my place.. and I belong by his side but only as an employee... So that's what I'm going to be a simple employee...

Jason quickly turns in the direction of Kyro's voice.. realizing what he just did.. Dino saw a tear go down kyro's face and he was about to say something but kyro put a finger onto his own lips shushing Dino so he won't say anything to Jason... He then wipes his face off and heads towards his room...

Dino: what in the fuck is really going on Jason because I don't buy any of what you just said!!! So start fucking talking!!

Jason: half what I said was true there is a marriage but it's not what I told you and kyro.. sky came here to warn me that my mom and his dad know about our past relationship and that they are planning an arranged marriage..

Dino: qué carajos tú me estás diciendo?! ( What the hell are you saying?!) Are you kidding me?! this has to be a joke!

Jason: why you think I lied in front of kyro... If he finds this out I'm a losing completely..

Dino: Pfts qué pendejo eres! (You're really stupid!) You basically just lost him! Lie or not you say bad things to kyro that sometimes I want to slap you out of your head... You should have told him the truth instead of a stupid lie and then yell at him the way you did!! Man if you was afraid of losing him because of this arrangement thing then be afraid because you just basically told him this is not his home and he's just an employee to you! so which one's worse... Because for me it's the same bullshit.. you denied him both ways so I guarantee you you dumbass because it's not going to be easy for you to get him back..

Jason: I had no freaking choice.. look he deserves better anyway I'm a blind man. how can I make him happy and he straight...

Dino: seriously you going to take out the guilt card on me!? You can tell that that man doesn't give a fuck that you're blind!! you got to stop using that against kyro because it's not fair to him... You know what he told me in the porch he told me he has never been in love like this before yes he was straight and this love is new to him but he just simply can't let go of you... You know what that tells me Jason that tells me that man is crazy in love with you... Obviously he doesn't care that you're a man or that you're blind. he just loves the fact how he feels when he's with you....

Jason: I don't believe you!

Dino: of course you don't because you only trust sky that's who you trust. the man you truly love... Admitted Jason it hurts to feel that he is getting married to another man... Admit the fact that you cannot get over that jerk...

Jason fell attacked by his best friend for the first time...

Jason: oh really and when are you going to admit that you're drunk dad is the one who killed my brother....

Dino: what did you just say!!

Jason: you've been by my side this whole time because you feel guilty because you're drunk insane father killed my brother and took my eyesight.. so don't call yourself a friend and stay here and tell me what Love actually is!!

Dino: ha ha you seriously think that I've been by your side just because of what my father did to your family!? Nene (boy) you're wrong! your family took me in made me one of yours that's why I considered you my brother not because of what my drunk dad did like you say.... You honestly think that the world revolves around you!!! Are you fucking wrong!!! Before I slam you against this pavement I'm going to go check on kyro!

Jason: I want you out of my house!!

Dino: fine!! Your wish is my command like always!! Oh by the way I quit!!!

Dino walks out the front door and slams it..
