chapter 27: arranged marriage

The next morning Jason made sure he had a good conversation with his mother but unfortunately was too late she already planted an afternoon brunch with her and Sky's father and both Jason and Sky had to attend which it was going to be held at Jason's home. Which Jason thought it will be fine because kyro, Nany and Kima we're going to be out for the morning... Everyone started to arrive.. Dino notice that everyone was arriving at Jason's house but there was no kyro and the others.. he was wondering what was Jason up to.. Dino receives a call on his phone and It's Jason.. Dino picks up with a bit of an attitude..

Dino: what!

Jason: I know you're mad at me but I can apologize to you through the phone. Are you home?

Dino: mhmm

Jason: please come over, there's something serious I have to talk to you about and I want to make up with my best friend I don't like being like this with you..

Dino: mhmm

Jason: so that's all your going to say to me..

Dino: you think that I'm going to be at your service every time you call me and expect me to go running to you, it doesn't work that way..

Jason: I don't want to do this through the phone Dino please..

Dino: you only call me when you got yourself into trouble and I'm assuming that those people that are walking into your house right now it's because sky got to you again!!

Jason: it's not like that's what I said last night the arranged marriage is true my mother and sky's father are trying to arrange marriage us together.. I invited them over so I can talk to my mother and get her head out of this and the tell her about kyro..

Dino: you're really going to tell them about kyro?

Jason: yeah but I do want my best friend by my side you don't have to say anything or help me with anything.. just having you there is enough...

Dino: ay Dios mío! ( Oh my God!)

Dino arrived at Jason's house and the looks he gave sky's Father were enough to to send shivers down your spine. Dino leans over towards Jason and whispers..

Dino: I think Sky's father like me very much...

Jason: do you believe in the day that everything went down you punched his son in the face without any explanation..

Dino: you know better than anyone that he deserved it and more..

Jason: yeah but that's not doing the best that's what got me in this mess..

Dino: so what about kyro does he know what's happening right now..

Jason: no he's out running some errands..

Dino: no no no I am done I am not going to be here for this.. you seriously telling me that you haven't made up with kryo.. and this jerk face sky is standing a feet away from me and you expect me not to hit him again! You out of your damn mind I am leaving!!

Jason: Dino wait!

Dino: no te atreves! ( Don't you dare!) Dino me!! This is going to end up a disaster and you would end up breaking that man's heart again!!

Jason: I already told him about my feelings for him!!

Dino: if you break his heart... Wait! What!!

Jason: yeah I even told him that I love him...

Dino: you're pulling my leg right now right?!

Jason: no I honestly confessed everything... I even told him that I wanted to be in kima's life..

Because Dino screamed everyone turned their head quickly towards Dino and everything got quiet.. dino quickly apologizes and everyone starts to sit down.. the first one that was about to open his mouth was the father of sky.. but Jason interrupted..

Jason: my apologies but can I say something before we start this??

Mama: yes go ahead my son talk..

Jason: I know you're here to arranged marriage me and sky but I'm sorry I don't think that's going to happen..

Sky's Father: did my son tell you something to upset you there has to be a reason why you don't want to marry my son..

Jason: there is a reason but your son is not part of it..

Mama: I won't accept this you'll be happy with sky..

Jason: mother.. I'm sorry I never fully came out to you but I cannot be with sky... Sky and I yes we had a past relationship that quickly turned toxic...

Sky: wait Jason!

Dino: let him talk!

Jason: your son made my life miserable.. I thought he was the one for me.. but I was wrong your son and I cannot be together and I would not accept this arrangement.. mother I know you want me to be happy and generally I am.. I don't need someone to be there all the time for me I can take care of myself.. and I have Dino to vouch for that.. yes me and dino have had our differences but he is my true friend and I will always be by his side even if he hates me the most... The business is blooming and it's up there because our hard work mother... But just because I work all the time and have dino by my side all the time doesn't mean I'm not happy.. your son is my worst past and I cannot go back there..
