4th of July

It was Steve's birthday, as his girlfriend, you took it upon yourself to throw him a party. Although you're not a fan of 4th of July, (because yk racism, homophobia, misogyny, etc.) you decorated the avengers tower in red, white, and blue. You got the team to join the festivities, keeping it a secret from Steve. Once everything was set up, you brought in Steve with a blind fold, when you took it off everyone yelled, "Surprise!" He was surprised, indeed. "Y/N, what is all this?" "It's your birthday party Mr.Star Spangled" you giggled, he hugged you. The party was a success, you saw Steve happier than he had been in the past couple of weeks, he and Bucky told stories from the 40's. "And- and that's w- when, Steve fe- fell into the water" Bucky tried to say but he was laughing too hard. Everyone started laughing, when it got dark outside people started setting off fireworks, they looked so pretty. Bucky whispered something in your ear, "It's time" he told you, you nodded your head, "I'll be right back babe" you said to Steve walking away with Bucky, you brought out some fancy fireworks, making sure to set them in the proper way, lighting them, and watching them set off, *zoom, boom multiple times* it spelled something out, "Happy Birthday Steve" it read, with extra fireworks to the sides for pizzaz. "Wow" he said in awe, you hugged him, some time later you all sung happy birthday  and ate some cake. After the party you showered, when you got out the shower, you met Steve in his room. "Steve?" He ambushed you picking you up, "Ahh, put me downnn" "Never" he said, covering your face in kisses, you were laughing so hard it made your stomach hurt, "I take it that you enjoyed your party" "It was fantastic. But, you're even more fantastic" he told you, "No, you" "No, you" "Nuh uh" "Yuh uh" "No way" "Yes way" he said, placing you on his bed, closing the door, he hovered above you, kissing your lips slowly, "You, my love, are far more fantastic. And if you have any problems with that, that's too bad." "Oh really?" "Yeah" *kiss* "I love you" "I love you too, happy birthday babe"
