(Your P.O.V)

Thor was outside working out in the hot Asgard sun, sweat glistening off his muscular build. "Thor, it's time to get ready for the gala" You announced, "Yes milady" he kissed me, purposely getting his sweat on me. "Ewwww!" He scooped me up bridal style to get more sweat on me, "Thor put me down! You're gross!!" I tried to wriggle out of his arms like a baby, "No can do Y/N" he carried me inside the castle. We showered to get the sweat off, got started on styling my hair and doing my makeup, "I have to go, I promise I'll be on time my queen" "Where are you going—," he cut me off by kissing me, followed by him running out the bedroom. Thor had been very busy with the Avengers recently. I went to the ballroom to make sure things would be perfect for tonight, one thing that I can't control, is the God of Thunder. "Where is he??" I paced around the giant ballroom, i had called several times and they all went to voicemail. "Your majesty, it is time" I pulled it together and greeted our guests as they entered, things were running smoothly, over an hour had gone by and somebody finally asked, "Where is Thor?" And like seagulls the whole crowd wondered the same thing. "That's a good question.. where is Thor?" "Where is he?" "Where is the king?" "Ladies, Gentlemen and Warriors, Thor is—," I got cut off by the doors bursting open, "Right here!!" The audience turned to him and cheered, seriously? I thought to myself, I gave him a look of disappointment, "Hello" my husband said to the guests as he pushed through the crowd. He made his way to the stage and I faked a smile because all eyes were on us, "A wonderful gala my love" he told me before placing a sweet kiss to my lips, it did make me feel a little bit better but that didn't change the fact that he broke his promise. "I'm mad at you" I whispered in his ear while giving him a hug.

"I'm sorry Y/N, but the Avengers needed me" "And I needed you. This was our first gala and I was so worried it'd go wrong. You promised me Thor, Gods you've been acting different recently. The Thor I know would never break a promise. Ever." My voice faltered on the last word. "I had no idea my love, I never wanted you to feel like that. Please forgive me, I will never break another promise. You have my word."
