Waking up to the sound of my 6:00 alarm I think to myself as I open my eyes, another bloodclaat Monday morning kmt. Who the fuck invented Mondays cause mi would ah bomb dem house right now. As I reluctantly got up so I could start my day and get ready for school I heard my mother cursing about God knows what this time, uh know woman miserable yah.

Opening my room door her screams got louder from downstairs. "Mommy ah wah do uh now?", I asked as I entered the living room. "Mek uh big back daddy and stinking foot bredda nuh put dem things weh it fi go and stop give mi problem", she answered picking up thier shoes. "Ah outside dem fi live like cave people" I replied while laughing.

"Dem nah go stay in yah and run up mi pressure enuh dat mi know", she said.
"Arite mommy done now" I heard my brother Kash-wayne say from behind me "Uh know how long she ah cuss" he added. Ah wahmn to dah bwoi yah man ah now the lady nah done. I turned to look at him and said "Mi ago ready fi school cause clearly uh wah dead".
As I was going back upstairs I saw my father coming down "Morning daddy what ah way uh look like uh bathe real good this morning", I joked "Ofc mi bathe good miss mi and uh anno the same", he joked back.
"No man daddy dat dead" "If uh cah tek the heat stay outta the kitchen" he replied while laughing. "So uh nah go ah school?" "Yea ah ready mi ago ready".

After heading back to my room to pick out my undergarments I went to my bathroom to take care of my hygiene, putting on my The Weeknd playlist I stepped into the shower to prepare for the day ahead. Stepping out of the shower I felt much better than I did stepping in, after brushing my teeth and finishing my morning routine I was finally ready for school. In the living room I saw my mother sitting in the sofa "Later mommy", I said kissing her on the cheek and taking  my car keys from the hook "Later Ash and nuh bada give nuh trouble todeh" she said referring to the fight I got into on Friday,  I just laughed and left, Gyal dem too outta order bout dem a carry people name at dem big age.

Upon entering my royal blue crown, I looked at the time which was 6:50 classes start at 9:00 so I called my bestfriends J'halia and Nylah on facetime "Frenn unu nuh ready mi wah stop ah Hi Tea before we go school," I said as they answered "Ah how uh love uh belly so?", they said in unison "If mi nuh love eh who ago love eh fimi, unu ready or wah" "Mi ah lef out ah the house now" J'halia said "And mi already out ah road" said Nylah "Arite mi ah come" I replied rolling down the windows and hanging up the phone.

Reaching the entrance of our community I saw my girls standing under the shed so I stopped to pick them up. "Girl unu guess who come roun ah mi yard Saturday come cheer mi up afta dem hear bout eh fight?" I said as soon as they entered, they side-eyed each other and smirk while saying "Zyyyyeeel" at the same time. I giggled and ask "Ah could ah who?"
Zyel Clayton is my father's bestfriend but also my man my man my man (mi wish) I do have ah crush on him though.

The girls and I didn't get to talk much on Sunday because we were really tired so I'm filling them in on my weekend. On our way into Mandeville to stop at Hi Tea I told them about him bringing me ice-cream and asking about the fight when mi done dem nuh stop trouble mi cho. Pulling up  to the Cafe I parked and we got out heading inside we smiled at Mrs. Mae-Lin the sweet, elderly korean owner of the Cafe behind the counter as we entered we greeted her and ask for our usual which was a matcha latte,two signature fruit bubble tea and three croissant sandwiches, yea we live yah. After waiting awhile we got our food and left after saying our goodbyes.

On our way to school we ate our food in the car while blasting fiesta by Armanii just vybing, upon nearing the school Nylah turnt the volume down saying "Unu tun eh dung before Ms. Clarke hear seh we ah listen dutty music and come angle we fi ar Christian school", dat mek we dead wid laugh knowing how she stay the lady all have mi up thru she want mi father but him nuh want ar kmt.

Turning into school and getting checked by security I went to the parking finding the perfect parking spot under a tree. The girls and I got out taking our things and heading under the gazebo since it was only 8:00 and we had some maths work to complete. Halfway through the work we got distracted talking about plans for a party we wanted to go on Saturday. "Ask Matteo fi carry we cause mi plan fi drink and drunk" I said to Nylah "Mi and Matteo is no frenn mi nah ask him nth" "Ask him tomorrow when unu ah frenn then" J'halia answered giving me a high five as we laughed "Dat wid unu now" she blushed. Time flew by as we joked around and talked about random things soon it was time to head to our math class. Mi nah understand shit inna this yah class yah tpc from high school until now mi cah get eh cho rass I thought as I checked the clock for the 100th time.

Finally finishing our classes at 2:30 we went to the parking lot. "Mi hungry yf" lia said as we entered the car "Mek we go ah kfc go buy Zinger Box on me" I heard Nylah add "Bombaat mi frenn rich and nah talk" I said pulling out of the school "Yea gyallie Bill Gates ah mi daddy mi just keep eh secret" "Ah lie mi ah look ah sugar daddy enuh" I replied "Nuh worry uhself Zyel deh yah fi uh" lia answered. We laughed at that and headed into town to go to kfc drive through. Getting our food we thanked God for them having BBQ Zinger and I drove us home.
