Chapter Eight: First Encounter

Y/n POV

I hear my alarm blaring as I open my eyes and turn my head to shut it off. I hit the clock as the alarm turns off. "Ugh! I don't wanna go to work!" I yell into my pillow close my eyes. I then let out a deep sigh as I start moving my body so I can sit up. I sit there for a bit as I then walk to my record player. I look for a record I want and take it out of the cover and put it onto the record player. The music then starts to play as I then start my day.

I get ready as all the songs play with me singing or sometimes even dancing along. (You can pick whatever you like to listen to) I then finished brushing my hair as I check the time. 7:30 damn I still got time to spare. "Maybe I'll go out for breakfast today." As I say this I grab my jacket since it's a little cold outside and my keys. I lock my front door as I walk to my car. I unlock the door and get in and start the car. "Now let's go get a coffee...and maybe a donut. I have a feeling today is going to be a good day." I then pull out of my driveway and start heading towards the nearest donut shop.

*small timeskip*

I hop out of my car and head towards the donut shop I just found. I walk to the front glass doors and immediately meet with the smell of coffee. "It's a good thing this place is on the way to the diner." I mumble to myself as I walk up to order. I order my usual and got a normal glaze donut. As I grab my coffee I hear the doorbell of the store ring meaning someone has walked in. As I was on my way to leave my eyes widened as I looked to had just walked in. "You've got to fucking kidding with me.." I mutter in aggravation.

It was William. No surprise there he wasn't alone though he had his kids with him. "Oh MISS Y/N!" I hear a particular redheads voice as I see her run up to me and into my arms. I smile as I feel her body crash into mine. "Hello Elizabeth!" I say as she pulls away from the hug and looks at me. She smiles as she looks at me. I then get this warm feeling in me like I was actually happy about seeing her. This is strange I don't like kids at all but Elizabeth, she's different. "Hi Miss Y/n" I see Micheal say as he walks over to join me and Elizabeth. I smile as I look at Micheal "Hello Micheal Good morning to the both of you" I say as look at both of them. "Good morning to you too Miss Y/n" they both say in unison.

William then walks over to us after ordering. "Hello
y/n I hope you've had a good morning so far." He says with a little grin on his face. "You too now it was lovely seeing you all but I have to head to the diner." I say as I give them a apologetic smile. They all then nod understandingly as I wave goodbye and walk out of the shop and rush to my car.

*small timeskip*

I then pulled up to the diner and saw Henery's mustard yellow car out in the front and a few other random cars. Not surprised William isn't here yet. Probably dropping his kids off at school or something. I get out of my car walking up to the two glass door with checkers print on them. I open and met with some employees. I then get to work by heading to the gaming area. I turn on all the games after some time I hear the door open. I look up and see William walking into the diner.

He must've felt my gaze on him cause he turned and looked at me giving me a little smile and then walked away. "What a weirdo" I say as i finish turning on the all games. I then go to the cleaning closet to clean the tables. I hope today goes by fast.

*timeskip*

"What a long day." I say as I sit down on the last table I finished cleaning. I then walk to the storage closet and put the supplies back and head to the backroom to get my stuff. I open my little locker and grab all my stuff that is until I hear a door close behind me. I quickly turn and I'm met with William. "Hello L/n how are you doing?" He says with a sly smirk as he sits at the table that sits in middle of the break room. "I'm doing fine Afton thanks for asking." I say unbothered. When will this man leave me alone....I already said I wasn't gonna say anything.

"Of course L/n, I always check up on my employees...." He then pauses I try to turn around and face him only to end up getting pushed up on the lockers behind me. "Even if they know a little too much~" As he says this he pushes me up against the locker his arms at both sides of my face keeping me from leaving. He gives me a smirk and chuckles. I feel the blush rush up to my cheeks as he removes his arms away slowly.

"I'll see you tomorrow, sweetheart~" As he says this he stays bent over a little bit and goes near my cheek leaving a kiss. I watch as he swiftly goes back to his normal stance and walk away out the door he once came in. My knees get weak as I slide down the lockers into the floor.

Oh my god......

A/n: I'm back for this story I'm sorry for leaving it on hold for a while but I'm back and hopefully I can try to get chapters out more often. Highschool is a bitch but I'm glad its almost summer anyways I hoped you enjoyed!!
