Vanitas's p.o.v

Break time. The one and only time where I can enjoy fifteen minutes of silence at work...or it would be if Raimi wasn't talking my ear off.

"Then he had the nerve to tell me that I'm toxic. Can you believe that, Mini-Van?"

"No, Raimi...I really can't." I say in the most sarcastic and monotonous way possible. But of course Raimi failed to notice entirely, too caught up in his own self-centeredness.

"Then when I try to call him, he gone act like he don't want to pick up, knowing damn well that I'm the only person he can talk to about-"

I briefly tune Raimi out as I notice a familiar face walk in. The same introverted guy from the other day but without his friend in tow. He looks around as if he were searching for something...or someone. I only realize who he was here for when he stares at my usual spot for a moment longer than he gave to everything else.

"Is that the cute boy from yesterday?" Raimi asks, taking notice as well. "See?" "Everyone comes back for some sassy chocolate."

"He's not here for you, Raimi." I inform. The introvert guy and I finally lock eyes, and yet again, he falls under a spell. "He's here for me."

"Why would he be here for you?" Raimi questions.

I don't answer him. I just respond with "I'm gonna end my break early" and move towards my newfound drudge. He moves past all the other patrons and performers to meet me by one of the private rooms.

"Hey." I greet with a somewhat ethereal presence about me."

"H-hi." He stumbles on his greeting slightly, looking me up and down.

And some combat boots.

Now that I had the time to really look at him, he was an average looking guy, about the same height as me with long brown hair.

"Your friend not tagging along today?" I question.

He sighs heavily. "I don't want any of my friends in my business. They weren't supposed to know that I'm bi in the first place. I just...accidentally mentioned something about it without thinking."
