VI: Let the game begin

He dragged me away from everyone and now we are on rooftop enjoying the cold breeze and blankly staring at the view infront of us. He hasn't said a word since we entered the rooftop. I looked at him for tenth times in 15 mins and then looked back at view. It wasn't the awkward silence, it was the relaxing and calming silence between us. We stared at the view for a longtime and coincidentally we both looked at each other at the same time and we made an eye contact. Our eyes locked for more than 3 mins and then he cleared his throat.

"Please don't look at me like that Ms.Kim, I might not be able to control myself" he said and kept looking directly at me.

"But I like the view right now" I said in calm yet teasing tone making his eyes widen a bit but he smirked right away.

"Is that so Y/n? Why don't you take a picture? It'll last long." he says with smirk in his face.

"I rather keep it in my heart than in my gallery" I smirked back.

He cringed at my words, even I cringed at my words. I should really not do this pick up line things, it's not for me. I felt embarrassed all of sudden so I looked away from him. I heard him chuckled.

"You're really bad at pick up lines" he chuckled showing his soft smile. I can't help but stare at his lips.

"Sorry" I mumbled in embarrassment.

"Don't be, you can't be perfect in everything now can you?" he winked at me making me almost blush but I cleared my throat and stayed calm.

"That was smooth, Mr.Yang" I smiled at him softly.

Jungwon was proud of himself and then you heard something in your earpiece, it was Rose.

"We have 10 more mins and we're out of here" Rose said in earpiece informing everyone in our team.

I looked at Jungwon, who was smiling at me. I smiled back at him. And I knew I have to go now to make our plan success. But before I leave, I wanted to warn him.

"Jungwon" I called him out making him look at me.

"Yes Y/n, what is it?" he asked softly.

"As it's getting late so maybe it's time for me to leave, but before I go, I wanna tell you something" I said & he gave me confused look and his face expression became calm again.

Jungwon POV

I was happy spending alone time with her. It was the first time, I forgot who I was in black world and was just being myself. I met her today and I was already feeling comfortable with her. Her aura wasn't approachable but why was I feeling so comfortable with her? I was in deep thought while smiling at her and she called out my name.

"Jungwon" she said and I looked at her with the same smile I had.

"Yes Y/n, what is it?" I asked in curious tone yet softly.

"As it's getting late so maybe it's time for me to leave, but before I leave, I wanna tell you something" her voice was calm but serious at the same time which made me serious too.

"Yeah sure, tell me what is it?" I asked her in serious tone.

"Better sooner than later" she says in calm tone making me confused.

She looked at me and then excused herself saying she will use washroom real quick and I was left alone in rooftop with my confused thoughts. I stayed in my place for over 10 more mins and then i heard gunshots from the hall. I looked back at the hall and it was dark and mess. I looked at the road down from the rooftop and saw someone hoping on the car. No doubt, it was Kim Y/n. She smirked at me and gave me thumbs up and then drove away from there. I stood there stunned and others came running towards me.

"There is murder in the building and police officers are on their way. It'll be risky to stay here. We should leave" Heesung says with serious tone.

"Yeah, let's leave before we get involve in this mess" Jay says in serious tone.

"Let's go out from the back door!" I said and we all started loading out guns and running towards the back door to leave.

Good thing, we didn't met anyone on our way or else, more murders would've happened. We ran towards our cars and then drove away towards our mansion in Jeju. As I was sitting on passenger seat of Heesungs car. I remembered her words "Better sooner than later". I smirked knowingly.

"It was them, huh! And she warned me. But why? And who did they murder? And why did they murder?"

I thought to myself as alot of questions were in my head.

Y/n POV

As soon as we arrived at the mansion. Hyunjin put the briefcase in the table and then smirked widely.

"Got the money from our prey" he giggled evilly.

"I never thought it'll be this easy to run away, literally nobody suspected us" Rose said happily.

"We killed our enemies, we also got the cash. One shot and two kill. Wow" Yeji says with wide smirk on her face.

"This was alot easier than I thought" Jihoon smirked widely.

"So tell me the details, how did everything go?" I asked them with my usual serious tone.

They sat up straight and then started explaining whatever happened there while I was in rooftop.

"Firstly, me and Rose left the dance hall earlier as everyone was busy dancing so nobody saw us leaving. We went towards the hallway on the next side and then loaded our guns and activated the silencer mode" Yeji says with serious tone.

"After that, I called Jihoon and asked if he saw Mr.Lim somewhere and he gave us the location which was the bar area. We both walked towards bar area and met Hyunjin and Jihoon there. We could've attacked right away but there were many other mafias with him so we had to wait" Rose explained after Yeji with the same serious tone.

"We were getting impatient as dance was ending. And it made us even more anxious but then we saw Mr.Lim walking towards washroom and then we checked the surroundings and attacked him to make him unconscious. Just then Jihoon was still at the bar and he collected the briefcase silently without getting notice by anyone and good thing it was dark so even CCTV couldn't catch him properly but to be cautious, we have removed every clips where the crime happened" Hyunjin said with a proud smirk in his face.

"Then after I got the briefcase, I left the place silently and waited for you guys at the parking lot" Jihoon says with calm tone.

"After Hyunjin attacked Mr.Lim. He brought him towards the storage room and we killed him there without leaving any evidence and with the help of vent on the ground, we threw him in one of the rooms which was connected to a vent. We didn't thought someone will be there but there was and we heard scream and that's when Rose announced that in 10 mins we should be out and then we all ran towards the parking lot and met Jihoon there and you came and we drove away" Yeji explained the crime scene with serious and proud tone.

"Good shot guys" I smirked at them happily.

"Mr.Lim got what he deserved"
