IV: Invitation

This is CEO Jungwon's room, fully furnished with modern and elegant furniture. Everyone has their own CEO room cause all 7 of them are CEO of this company. Jungwon sat on chair while typing something in his laptop infront of him. His long fingers was typing on his keyboard smoothly as if he was playing a piano. His eyes were focused on the screen, He looked serious as always. Just then, there was soft knock on the door.

"Come in" Jungwon says without even bothering to look who it was.

Door slowly opened and Heesung walked inside and saw Jungwon was working so he silently sat down on couch and was doing something on his phone.

"What is it, hyung?" Jungwon asked after few minutes of silence.

"Nothing, just got bored in my office alone so I came here cause you are the only one in company today" Heesung says calmly while his eyes still on his phone screen.

"Only me? Why? Where did everyone go?" Jungwon asked in confused tone.

Heesung finally looked up at him and answered him.

"Well, Jake is on leave as he drank too much yesterday, Sunoo is in school, Niki and Sunghoon went to HQ cause they said they wanna check the new guns we got last week, Jay went to deal with Mr. Wang" Heesung explained everything.

Jungwon just nodded at him and went back on his laptop screen again. Heesung silently started surfing through his phone then he sighs deeply after sometime making Jungwon look up at him.

"What's the matter? What's with the deep sigh?" Jungwon asked in confused tone while his eyes were on Heesung.

"Actually I am trying to find someone but I can't find anything" Heesung sighs again.

Jungwon nodded.

"Just ask Jake then, he can help you" Jungwon says without looking at Heesung.

"But the thing is I don't even know her name" Heesung mumbled, but it was loud enough for Jungwon to hear.

"So it's a her. Who is this her, hyung? Are you in love?" he giggles.

"No, I am just curious. That's all" Heesung says calmly.

"Hyung, don't forget rule no. 20" Jungwon simply said.

Heesung nodded recalling their rule 20.

"Never involved any innocent people in your business, no love, no friendship"

Heesung just silently sat on couch while looking at his phone and Jungwon was just checking his emails. Room was filled with silence then suddenly Jungwon got email. He tilt his head and opened the new email he just got.

"Hyung, come see this" Jungwon says to Heesung.

Heesung walked towards him and looked at the email.

"Masquerade ball, isn't this like once in 7 years thing" He mumbled softly.

"Yeah I guess it's this year" Jungwon says calmly.

"Others are gonna be excited hearing this news, I mean they love these kind of parties" Heesung says.

Jungwon simply nodded at him and looked at the invitation once again.

You just finished your morning meeting with Mr. Jung, everyone left and now it was just you and Yeji inside the meeting room.

"I think this is a success then! Mr. Jung accepted the project so I think we should celebrate" Yeji says in soft tone with excitement.

"Yeah sure, we should" You said calmly without even looking at her.

You were scrolling your phone and suddenly you got notification of new email. You opened the email and saw the invitation to Masquerade ball.

"Looks like we don't have time to celebrate" you said with calm tone and showed her your phone screen.

"Wow Masquerade ball, it's been a while I have attended any parties. It's gonna be fun" Yeji says in excitement.

"Where are others? We should inform them as well that we are gonna attend the ball and we need the plan ready as well" you said in serious tone.

"Jihoon & Hyunjin went to HQ to check the weapons which was delivered yesterday and Rose is working on the files of our black business" Yeji said in serious tone too.

"Okay let them know that we are going to this party and I have called emergency meeting in 2 hours" you told Yeji and walked outside the meeting room.

Yeji nodded and then took out her phone and called everyone right away.
