After the truth came out of what really happened to Billy, the two shared an out of the blue hug. Max cried tears of mixed emotions. She was relieved that her brother was even alive, angry that he had to leave in the first place, and still a bit shocked that he and Eddie were friends. But nonetheless, she found that closure she needed so she'd stop worrying every waking second if he was okay.

As for the Munson boy, he held the girl in a protective manner and simply let her get her seemingly bottle up emotions out. He felt bad of course for keeping this from her for a little over a year now, but he was sworn to secrecy since they all couldn't risk his father finding him. Only God knows what would happen then.

"Y'know, it's no secret Billy didn't have the best reputation out there, but I will admit, the guy should've put his anger into drumming, man he would just go to town when I brought him to band practice." Eddie stated after a moment with a little chuckle, making an attempt to lighten the mood and cheer the girl up.

"Yeah? Bet he sounded awful." The girl chuckled out a bit as she sniffled and shook her head, starting to break from the hug.

"Well, with a little practice, he could've gotten...somewhere." Eddie laughed out this time as he let go of the younger who now sat up and wiped her cheeks free from tears.

From there, Max and Eddie sat on the couch and shared a bit of small talk. Eventually however, they made their way down to the floor in front of the TV and took turns player on Max's Sega SG-1000. Currently, they were playing Q*bert.

"Eddie! Cmon man open up, you better not be sleeping." Steve called from outside the Munson boys trailer while knocking.

When he didn't get an answer though and rather silence, the boy sighed and checked to see if the door was locked- it wasn't. So, he walked in, feeling a bit rude for not being invited in first, but when Eddie wasn't in the living room or his room, he just let out a confused 'what'.

Ergo, he set his things down and then walked out of the trailer again. The van was still in the driveway, and there was no note, so the best option for him was to wait? But wait for what. Well, that was until he caught sight of a certain metalhead walking out of Max's trailer and lighting himself a cigarette. Well that's odd.

And for his curiosities sake, Steve walked on over to the other home, and looked up at the Munson boy who stood on the porch. "So you have smokes?" The boy asked as he pulled a new pack from his pocket.

"Yeah, but I was running low." The male replied as a little smile appeared on his face as he reached for the small box.

"Jeez Eds, you made it sound like it was the end of the world." The younger announced. When he saw the others smile, all he could do was feel a little butterfly feeling. "How come you're with Max? I didn't think you two were close." He asked, slipping his hands in his pockets.

"Well, I came over earlier and asked why they're were spying, and they clearly lied, so I came back once the others left." Eddie vaguely explained as he sat down on the steps, flicking some ash from the cigarette while Steve came over and sat beside him, urging him to continue. "Well, turns out she thought I was dealing to you, she was just looking out for you."

As Eddie explained more about their hangout- leaving out everything about Billy since that was a more personal thing for Max, the girl was currently watching the two from a window. She saw Steve come over, so she was going to see if the Munson boy was just going to leave her without saying anything, but instead, the two sat down on the porch together.

When she was about to turn away and mind her business though, she watched as the older out of the pair slung his arm across the other males shoulders and turn his head to face him. Now, with where she was positioned, she couldn't see Eddie's expression, but she could definitely see Steve's.
