valentines. chapter 7

(Jonathas POV)

I was positive that I was going to talk to Sherwin this day, it was Monday so weekends just ended.
I sat in bus stop seats and waited for the bus and hoping to see Sherwin a while later, when the bus arrived he still wasn't there so I start to get a little worried

He's late again...

I get on and go take a seat I thought about saying what I feel for Sherwin, I hope I would get a chance to speak with him this day, I feel really bad I didn't open my mouth that night.
When we got there I got off and quickly went inside for my first class, I've been distracted and not being able to study with all the things that currently in my head
the teacher came in and began to write on the whiteboard it was hard for me to listen because I was distracted by confessing what I felt for Sherwin, I decided to talk to him at lunch. it's my turn to make a move now.

In math class I saw him, he sat down and placed his book on his table while listening to the teacher, "how about you Jonathan, what's the answer?" Shoot, I wasn't listening.
"Uh, 13?" I say, feeling stupid and embarrassed the whole classroom giggled while the teacher said "you're completely off Jonathan, please do some research when it's weekends next time."
I felt so stupid.

Math ended and I go get food and quickly go to where Sherwin was sitting, I sat next to him and when he tried to move away I grabbed his hand and said "Sherwin just let me speak for once."He looks at me with a defeated face "fine just go back to your seat after" he says looking down at his food," it's about what I feel for you Sherwin. I like you, you just didn't give me a chance to say it."
his face had a surprised expression he but didn't respond, I get up and walked up to my friends, "hey Jonathan why were you with that loser Shywin he's just a little art freak" Brittany says looking at me
I don't say anything, I just take a seat next to them, I wanted to defend Sherwin but I just couldn't talk back to my 'friends for 3 years, they've changed since they got popular I haven't hung out with them because they were really homophobic towards Sherwin.

It was almost Valentine so the teachers put up some decorations on the weekends, Valentine we celebrate with dance so I was thinking of asking Sherwin out if he wanted to go with me.
After school, I go run up to him "Sherwin!" I yell then he turns to me and I stop right in front of him, he was confused about why I stopped him "I was just wondering if you're going to the valentines dance?" I ask
"yea I think so why do you ask?" He said I look into his eyes, "can you be my date to the dance?" I said nervously and he smiles a little " really? Sure! I've been kinda wanting you to ask me"
we start to walk together and head on to the bus, we sat together at the back and sit beside eachother
when we got there we both say bye to eachother and walked off to our house.

sorry if my chapters are rrly short its exhausting because i have a lot of things to do and school is coming up so forgive me if i dont publish long
