~A new beginning~ pixie and Brutus

Through that week you and pixie, as well as Brutus, had nothing to do, no new tricks to do, nothing.

Mostly it's because your master is preparing you for your guard training, something that you are extremely good at, unlike Brutus, who just prefers to enjoy his day laying in the sun, and you, who tends to patrol the house every hour or so.

And this week, your master needed to leave to visit a few families friend, and a few of his neighbors chipped in to help take care of the three of you.

You sigh as you lay your head in the open window of the police car, one of your master's brothers is a policeman and needed a k9 to help him, and since the both of you get along your master thought of letting you work, you perk up when you hear a familiar voice and you quickly look around.

You smile when you spot Brutus trying to explain to pixie what reckless driving means and snicker when she just looks at him with an innocent expression.

Pixie spots you and smiles, urging Brutus to the car so that she can speak to you, he chuckles as he walks toward the car, tugging Felix, one of the neighbors, and dexter, along to the car.

"Need to talk to your girlfriend?~"

Dexter says teasingly at Brutus, he rolls his eyes and leans on the car, Felix and the police officer then start a conversation.

"Careful pup"

You say gently as pixie wiggles out of the small pocket of the vest and scurries to sit on top of Brutus' head.

"Hi, joy, how's your first day at work?"

She says happily, you smile and look at Brutus, you knew that the kitten was asking questions to him all morning as to why are you not with them and you know that he told her that you were stopping bad guys and things alike.

"Well at first it was a bit boring and then I found a few bad guys trying to do bad guy things so I and my partner got them and took them to jail!"

You say to her and she gasps, asking tons of other questions, Brutus chuckles and urges her to go back to where he placed her, she whines and wiggles in the small pocket, all the while talking to dexter that I am fighting bad guys.

Brutus shakes his head and looks at you with a smile.

"Tell me, how was your first day at work going?"

He says gently, you roll your eyes and then lay your head back at the window.

"Bit boring today, got this guy for speeding but that's just about it for now"

You say gently, he smirks and snickers, making you raise a brow in confusion at him.

"I thought that you were catching bad guys up and down?"

He says whilst snickering, you roll your eyes at him and smile.

"Covering for your ass"

You say quietly at him, he smiles and looks at your partner, seeing that they were done talking, and your partner walked toward the door.

"See you at six?"

Brutus asks, you shrug, not knowing if you will get off at that time.

"Let's see"

You say as you lay down on the indoor crate, the window closes, and the officer drives off.

You look down at the supposed 'cake' pixie made with confusion, she happily shows it to Brutus as Brutus gives that same puzzled look.
