Billy Showalter (just friends??)

Y/n's pov

Me and Billy have been friends for as long as I could remember. Sometimes when he needed help with newspaper's you would help him he never liked it when did not sure why.

"Hey Billy do you need anything help?" I said walking over to him "no I'm fine y/n don't worry" " Are you sure you say that every time and end up needing help" you smirk at him "I know I say it every time but this time I really don't need help" he says "fine do you want me to wait for you"
"Naw I'll been on time go without me"
"Ok see you at school! Bye Billy" I say walking to school

30 minutes have passed Billy still wasn't here I hope he's alright he's always late but never this late. I wait outside of the front door for him. Another 10 minutes pass.I'm a little worried ok maybe a lot. I finally see him running up to me "I won't be late my ass you should've just let me help you" I say "I rather have you be at school" "awwh you care if I'm at school or not your so sweet" I say in a baby tone "shut up" he rolls his eyes as we walk into school

Time skip to 6th period (the last class I think I only have 4 but I think they have 6)

I walk into 6th period sitting with Donna across from Billy. "Hey y/n.. earth to y/n??" "Oh sorry Donna" I say "it's fine but uhh I was wondering if you where where doing anything after school?" She asks "oh yeah I'm hanging out with Billy after" I whisper "ooo Billy when do you think he'll ask you out??" She whispers back "we're just friends you know" " you sure look who's starting" (you and Billy do that think Donna and finney did) "whatever Donn-" I say before I get cut off my the teacher "Donna,Y/n do you have anything you wanna share with the class" the teacher says "I don't but I think y/n does" she winks at me "shut up Donna!" I kinda yell at her

"y/n! Detention after class!" She yells "wait what?!" Billy starts giggling "you know what detention for you to Billy since you wanna be disrespectful!"she yells at Billy. Donna puts her head down trying really hard not to laugh the teacher thought it was me and started yelling again "Y/N JUST LEAVE GET OUT OF MY CLASS ROOM"

I just walked halfway out "take Billy with you too" me and him both walk out of the class and close the door. You both start laughing "she didn't even tell us where to go??" "I guess we don't have detention then" I shrugged.

Me and Billy ran out of school and go to the corner store to get slushes you guys where going to hang out anyways so it didn't matter. I got Blue raspberry and Billy got cherry because he said it was "the best flavour" "there's no way you think CHERRY is better then blue raspberry" "cherry is just better" "no way blue raspberry is the best" "fine then let me try it" "fine let me try yours" (you guys to the cross thing idk how to explain it)

"Nope blue raspberry is still better" "ew no way cherry is wayyy better" we both start laughing

Time skip to like 9pm

We both start walking home we stop in front of my house because Billy always walks me home after we hang out "bye y/n I'll see you tomorrow" he says "thanks for taking me out" I smile at him "yeah anytime" he smiles back. I hugged him rapping my hands around his neck he hugs back obviously. I didn't think twice about kissing him he rapped his hands around my waist. We Break apart "sorry I umm" "it's fine I liked it anyways.." "bye Billy" I smile at him before opening the door.

This is by far my favourite story even tho Billy got like 2-4 minutes of screen time so I didn't really know how to like Yk  make his personality🤷‍♀️
