Always forever/ Robin x Finney

Chapter 1

When he was little, Robin always knew that there would come a day when he'd meet someone who would make his heart flutter like the wings of an excited bird.

He knew this because he had been told all kinds of stories by adults about how it happened to them, What he didn't know is that his true love would be Finney Blake, his brown doe eyes, his bright smile, his laugh, his soft blonde hair, everything about the boy drove Robin crazy but deep down he knew that Finney would never return his feelings because Finney is straight right?, His thoughts were cut short as Finn walked up to him with a huge grin on his face

"Hey! You wanna come see my first game in the new school year on friday? The team and I are gonna go out later tonight to celebrate," he asked excitedly

"Yeah! I would love to see you play!" Robin replied enthusiastically, causing the other boy's face to light up at his response

"Ok can't wait to see you there!" Finney said cheerily, giving the smaller boy a hug before skipping off to his next class.

Robin stood there for a minute or two until he realized what just happened, He let out an excited squeal, jumping up and down as he started running towards his next class, trying not to trip over his feet.

Finn smiled to himself as he watched his friend run off, feeling a small blush spread across his cheeks at how cute he looked

(TIME SKIP)

It was after school when Robin got home from school, which wasn't too bad, he enjoyed having extra time to hang out with his mom

"Hey Mom! I'm home!" he called out into the house, kicking off his shoes and sat on the couch

"I heard, I just got back from work remember? I'm making dinner now but feel free to join me whenever!" She replied

Robin nodded before going into his bedroom to change into something more comfortable, he picked out a black shirt and some sweatpants,after changing, he laid on his bed and started to scroll on his phone before deciding to text his friend saying hi.

The two boys had talked on text before, mostly to ask how each other was and if they wanted to hang out sometime soon, but this time, it felt different.

"Hi Finney, how are you today? :) I hope your day was ok!"

"My day was good, what about yours?"

"Same here! My mom was making me dinner so do you wanna maybe come over?"

Finney thought for a moment before replying with a simple "Sure! Ill be there in 10 minutes"

Robin smiled, happy to have the opportunity to spend some time with Finn, 10 minutes later, Robin heard knocking on the front door, he then went to go get it,opening the door to reveal the boy he was crushing on and also being his best friend.

"Hey Finn! Welcome to my humble abode," Robin grinned as he gestured to the living room

"Thanks Robin! I'm guessing dinner is ready?"

"Yeah it is! come get some sweetie!" Robin's mother said

Finney and Robin then walked over to the dinner table to get some food

After finishing their dinners Finney and Robin headed up to Robin's bedroom, Finney took a seat on the bed while Robin sat next to him

"So what do you wanna do?" Finney questioned

"Umm..well I have loads of video games we could play" Robin said

Finn chuckled slightly and shook his head "We don't need those kinda games. Let's watch a movie instead"

"Oh yeah, okay! But it has to be something good"

"That's fine with me"

Robin thought for a second before answering, "We can watch Texas chainsaw massacre"

"That's such an old movie!" Finn says

"But it's such a good classic though, your gonna like it!" Robin replied

"You sound pretty sure of yourself"

"Well I am...come on, let's watch it!"

Robin turned on his TV and put the movie on

As the movie started to get scary, Finn held onto him for protection , which caused Robin to turn his attention back to his best friend
"Are you okay?" Robin asked quietly

"Yes, but its really scary..."

"Do you want me to hold your hand?"

"Yes please!"

Finney and Robin's fingers intertwined together and Finney nuzzled into Robin's shoulder

After a few minutes of the movie ending, the credits rolled across the screen and Robin looked down at Finn, looking at him fondly with a big grin on his face

"Do you like it?" Robin asked shyly

"Yes, I loved it! Thank you!"

"You're welcome!"

Robin couldn't stop smiling as he stared at Finney, taking notice of how much he seemed to glow under the lights of his bedroom, he noticed the small freckles dusted across Finney's cheeks, how his eyes crinkled when he laughed and how he looked absolutely beautiful. As Robin was caught staring, he quickly glanced away, blushing red.

"Did you want to stay up late or head home soon?" Robin asked shyly

"I gotta get home it's getting pretty late, see you at school tomorrow!" Finney said as he got up from the bed and walked out the door

"Ok bye!" Robin said

Robin simply couldn't believe it, the love of his life just held his hand, fireworks and butterflies are not enough to explain what he's feeling right now.
