(Sorry if this chapter is kinda short and rushed)
As much as Finney didn't wanna admit it, he was kinda using Donna to get over his crush on Robin, yes he knows that its wrong and that he shouldn't be using people to get over someone but he just cant help it, Robin was constantly been on his mind from day to night and it was bothering him, all he really wanted was a break from the pain of unrequited love.
So he took what he could and went for it. He decided to ask Donna out to the after party and since she liked him she agreed without any hesitation, even though she had no idea why he wanted her there.
And sure he was being a huge dick to Robin but his feelings were hurt ok? His one true love didn't love him back, you would be crushed too!
"This party is awesome babe!" Donna says while swaying her hips to the music
"Yeah it's crazy!" Finney said as he danced with her
They were currently at the after party which was filled with drunk and high teens, loud music and flashing lights making it impossible to have a conversation without shouting or accidentally spilling some beer.
"What's up bro?, you never told me you had a girlfriend!" Xavier said
"Yeah this is my girlfriend Donna" Finney said introducing her
"Nice to meet you!" Donna says with a wink and a smile
"Nice to meet you too darling~" Xavier said back
"What the hell was that! 'Nice to meet you too darling' my ass!" He thought but refrained himself
The rest of the night went the same way, dancing till you legs felt numb and drinking till you throw up
Donna and Finney sat on the couch, talked a bit then out of no where Donna leans in for a kiss and kisses Finney passionately, Finn kissed back of course but all he could do was imagine it was Robin's soft lips instead, Finn pulled away from the kiss feeling guilty about imagining his ex best friend while kissing his girlfriend
"What's wrong baby?" Donna asked concerned
"N-Nothing babe.." Finney lied trying not to show his guilt
"It's getting late so we should head home now" Finney said standing up and holding out his hand for Donna to take.
Donna takes his hand and they leave the party walking into his car, Finney drops off Donna at first then heads over to his place, as soon as he gets home he plops onto his bed and sobs into his pillow
"Why cant i get over him!?" Finn sobbed
Gwen heard his cries and went in to go check on him
"Yo, you ok Finn?" Gwen asked
"Yes I'm fine Gwenny!" Finney said as he wiped his tears
"No you're not, look at you!" Gwen said to him
"FINE! Me and Robin aren't friends anymore.. Ever since we told each other about our crushes it hasn't been the same, it's like we went from best friends to strangers all of a sudden!, he barely makes eye contact or hugs me anymore!" Finney sobbed
"Finn its ok.. You'll get over it.. Your heart may be broken right now but you have Donna right?" Gwen comforted her brother
"That's the thing! Im using her to get over him and it isn't working! Plus Donna's probably cheating on me with that jock Xavier anyways!" Finney said as more tears started to fall
Gwen let out a sigh, "Finney, i dont know how to help with your situation but i just know that if Donna is cheating you deserve better"
"Thanks Gwenny.." Finneys says then hugs his sister tightly
"Anytime.." She responded then headed out the door
