We received detention, all five of us, so it was my turn to smile smugly at Draco. When our detention time finally came, we walked out of the castle, following Filch who was going on about the old times and what punishments used to be like.
He wished the old punishments hadn't died.
Hagrid appeared with a crossbow in hand, and I could tell he was still upset about Norbert being sent away to Romania. He truly cared about the young dragon.
"Oh, for gods sake man. You're going into the forest, got to have your wits about you!" Filch said.
"The forest?" Draco asked, dumbfounded; his tone laced with fear. "I thought that was a joke! We can't go in there. Students aren't allowed, and there are..." there was a howl in the distance. "Werewolves!"
"Draco, if I can easily frighten you, how are you ever going to manage?" I tease him.
I rolled my eyes, despite all his bravado he was scared; his spine still yet to be found.
"Right. Let's go," we all followed Hagrid.
He splits us off into groups. Myself, Draco, and Harry. While Hermione and Ron were with Hagrid. Draco insists that we take Fang with us, only for Hagrid to state, "he's a bloody coward."
We walked for a while until we came across another unicorn, although, this one had a cloaked figure bent over it. I gasped as Harry clasped his scar.
Draco immediately runs off and I run after him so we could go find the others; when we see Hagrid, I tell them exactly what happened and we take them to back to where we had been.
Harry was stood talking to a centaur.
"Hello there Firenze. I see you've met our young Mr Potter. Alright there, Harry?" Hagrid asks.
He only nodded.
"Harry Potter, this is where I leave you. You're safe now. Good luck." With those last words, Firenze, the centaur gallops off.
I ignore Draco on our way back to our dorms and go straight to bed. The following morning, Snape finds me before breakfast and suggests I stay away from Harry, Ron, and Hermione, otherwise there might be questions about where my loyalties lye. His insinuation wasn't one I was too happy about, but I know he has connections to my parents, and as much as I wish that I could, I couldn't challenge it.
I only agree to help the trio as they wanted my help to get Fluffy to sleep, so we head to the third floor.
I begin to sing and soon Fluffy starts to get sleepy, the barking and thrashing against her chain was lessening and soon the trio were able to get through the trapdoor. I manage to enchant the harp to keep playing and I quickly leave the room.
I had a feeling the trio would be okay. I made it back to my dorm, somehow, without getting caught. I sag against the portrait as I almost fall into the common room.
News travelled fast around Hogwarts. After I left the trio, they had faced a series of obstacles, and Harry faced Quirrell who was assisting Voldemort by combining himself to him. Using his own body as a host for Voldemort. Harry destroyed him and was able to recover the stone.
As we all met up, once Harry had been released from the Hospital Wing, we walked together into the Great Hall.
I said goodbye as we parted to our house tables for the leaving feast. Around the hall, the Slytherin banners were up and I smiled. Slytherin won the last house cup, and we were leading to win again, until Dumbledore announced there were last minute points to be added.
With that, Gryffindor had won the house cup and with a clap of his hands the banners changed to their scarlet and gold house colours.
More cheering erupted and everyone got to their feet to throw their hats into the air, except Draco who sulked in his seat. I was happy for them; they deserved the win.

"Come on now, hurry up. You'll be late! Trains leaving. Go on, go on! Hurry up," Hagrid yelled as we all milled around on the platform saying our final goodbyes.
Hermione and I boarded the train after Harry spoke to Hagrid who ushered him onto the train as he was about to cry. After making sure that Hermione, Ron, and Harry would write to me over the summer, I left them to go find Draco.
Just as the train pulls away from the station, I take out my sketchbook and pencils and begin drawing. On the train it also gave me the chance to write in my diary, - after Harry and I found the Mirror of Erised, mistakenly, while we were hiding from Filch that night we had been in the restricted section of the library, I saw a woman in the mirror. Harry saw his parents.
One night after we both decided to return to the mirror, bringing Ron with us, Dumbledore found us there and explained that the mirror showed us our deepest desires. The woman I had seen, I did not know who she was, she was beautiful though, with blue eyes shadowed by makeup. Long brown hair with golden-blonde balayage was curled at the bottom; which passes shoulder length. She was wearing a green, very lowcut dress that showed off the curves of her body, as she stood with poise and elegance. She's tall too, about five foot eight. Remembering her features completely, I drew her.
The first week of summer a new sentence had appeared under the first which said, "The man with two hearts," and like the first it soon disappeared after I'd read it; so, I wrote it down again. I wrote to Hermione about it, but she was just as lost as I still was.
<•> Author's Note <•>
Who Ally sees in the mirror we be explained later on in the book. I wanted to include Elizabeth Hurley's portrayal of a particular character to hint at where Ally's magic may or may not come from.
