Not sure how they managed to find a venue, Melody was sat panicking. She was nervous. Hermione and Ginny were with her to help get her ready.
Rory joins them in the room, looking just as nervous, but when he sees Melody for the first time, wearing her mothers wedding dress, looking like her double. It hits him more than he thought it would.
Amy's idea initially for the wedding, was to create a distraction so Melody wasn't worrying so much about the prophecy.
"Wow, Melody! You look great," Rory says.
"Thanks, dad," she laughs. "I think I'm ready!"
Ginny and Hermione both left the room to take their places at the back end of the venue. Soon, Melody walked out her arm linked with Rory's.
Everyone was in their seats facing the front of the room, where The Doctor stood with George. Fred had enchanted the room so it was lightly snowing.
She watched as Hermione walked down the aisle first, bouquet of flowers in hand, and then it was Ginny's turn. Then it was hers; she took a deep, steadying breath.
They took slow, deliberate steps right up to where George and The Doctor were standing. Melody glanced at her mother who was smiling.
The Doctor had an excited look on his face as he stared between George and the daughter of his best friends.
He then takes off his bow tie and passes one end to Melody, who he then asks to wrap it around her hand a few times; he offered the other end to George who did the same.
As Melody looked at George, she didn't see or look at anything else. It was just them, The Doctor...and his bow tie bound around their hands.
"Okay, are we ready?" The Doctor smiles. "Rory, say I consent and gladly give."
"To what?" Rory looked at him confused.
Melody chuckled at her dads obliviousness.
"Just say it. Please," The Doctor said.
"I consent and gladly give," Rory said, still confused.
"Need you to say it too, ...mother of the bride," The Doctor glances over to Amy.
"I consent and gladly give," Amy said.
"Okay, now. I'm going to whisper something into both your ears, and you've got to remember it very, very carefully, and you're not going to tell anyone what I've told you both," The Doctor told them.
At the reception, Melody was never alone. Either she had someone refilling her champagne glass, or one of the twins wanted her to dance with them, or she was talking to a friend or family member...
