Iguro Obanai X Reader: TSUNDERE SNAKE

A series of events

It had been a week since the mission with Obanai and we had interacted quite a lot since then. He often greeted me and spoke to me quite a lot. Sometimes, he even smiled at me. However, Mitsuri had stopped smiling at me as much and didn't talk to me as much. Whenever she did smile, it seemed fake and forced. Obanai had seemed to warm up to me, while Mitsuri was being cold. I enjoyed being around Obanai and felt a warm sensation whenever you were with him. I felt like you could tell him anything, I felt like you could open up with him and most of all, I had a hunch he felt the same way. It was like I could read his mind...

When I got up in the morning today, I poured myself a cup of F/H/D (Favorite Hot Drink eg. Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate).
I was a little drowsy, but I managed to make myself breakfast without breaking or spilling anything. Once I was done eating, I went outside to train for sometime. I wanted to work on my swordsmanship and my agility. As I trained, I started to hear noises and rustling in some of the bushes near my estate. I decided to take a break from practicing and freshen up. I washed my face and went to the kitchen to pour myself a glass of water. As I was drinking, I heard a loud bang outside that almost made me choke. 'What is going on?' I thought to myself. I swiftly crept outside and saw three Lower Kizuki. Lower Rank One, Lower Rank Three and Lower Rank Four. "Well Well," said Lower Rank Three, "this is a fine estate."
Three kizuki working together? This was very unusual. How did they find my estate? What are they doing here?
"Oi demons! What are you doing here?!" I asked in an annoyed tone. "Well, we were just looking for a light snack in the forest and found this estate!" cried out Lower Rank One (Your estate is in the forest so there is a lot of shade from trees so the demon's are alive). "Well, you clowns almost made me choke!" I shouted,"now leave before I clean you up!"
"Ara, you don't fear us? You think your so strong?"
"Just leave!"
"Not yet! Your really annoying us you know! Blood Demon Art, Magenta Flames!"
The demon tried to set me on fire but I dodged and attacked back
"Blood Breathing, First Form! Bloodbath!"
The first demon was blindsided and I easily beheaded him.
The second demon turned around and tried to attack me.
"Blood Demon A-"
"Shut up!" I exclaimed before slicing her head off.
"This is is such a pain," I muttered to myself.
The last demon turned around and saw me inserting my blade in its cover
"Your not gonna use your blade?" she scoffed "So you've given up huh?"
She was trying to be cocky?
"No," I said calmly, "just look above you."
She tilted her head up only to see the bright Sun shining down on her and the leaves on the trees all precisely trimmed (I didn't want to say the trees were cut down since that's deforestation. Don't support deforestation 😭).
Before she could react, she disintegrated completely.
"That was frustrating," I thought to myself. I went back inside my estate and messaged Master Kagaya about what happened. Later that day, he called another hashira meeting.
"Good Evening my children. I have summoned you here today to inform you that Y/N was attacked by 3 kizuki earlier today..." said the Master in a soothing voice
"Wow!" exclaimed Tengen, "you fought all of them! So flamboyant!"
"Thanks Uzui San..." I responded, "they were just Lower Moons though."
"It's still quite impressive," said Obanai making me blush.
"Not really," said Mitsuri looking away, "Lower Moons are really weak."
"I guess your right..." I said.
"Y/N is still super strong though," said Obanai, "she was able to kill Lower Moon 5 in just a few forms!"
I blushed even harder at this
Mitsuri just pouted

Mitsuri POV:
Why does he keep complimenting her? I suddenly feel like I hate Y/N! She just seems so close to Iguro San whenever I see her. What does Iguro San even find special about her? Why doesn't he call me strong?

Obanai POV:
Mitsuri has been kinda cold to Y/N ever since we came back from the mission. I don't know why...
I never thought I would say this but I'm actually beginning to like Y/N's company. She has a really kind and warm aura, she's like Kanroji but a little more mature. Even though we only met around two weeks ago it feels like she's an old friend who's always been there for me. She seems so familiar. She sort of alludes to the fact that I can share anything with her, I feel safe around her...
