"So, how was the movie, Bruce?"

"It was great. The way Zorro fought the bad guys. I was Awesome."

"Well, I'm glad you enjoy yourself. But Thomas, you didn't have to rent the entire theater."

"I wanted to give Bruce the best experience. There nothing wrong with being a good father, Martha."

"Yes, but there's a difference between raising a good kid and a spoiled one."

"Wait, is that a young Bruce."

The heroes were in shock. It shows an innocent kid who can actually smile. But some of the heroes saw Batman silently crying at the scene. He had his head low and some tears from his eyes. They were beginning to get concerned about what was going to happen.

Suddenly, another figure enters the scene. The figure was a robber and had a gun pointing at the family.

"Give me your money."

"Whoa there. There's no need to get violent."

"Did I ask. GIVE ME YOUR DAMN MONEY."

"Here." Thomas handed over his wallet to the thief.

"Her necklace as well."

"Okay. Honey, give the man the necklace."

"I can't. It stuck."

"Oh, for the love of." The thief took the necklace by force. Some of the pearls dropped to the street.

"There, that's everything we have. Please spare us."

"You think I'm an idiot. You're the Waynes. I'll have a bounty on me the second you call the cops."

"Listen, we'll say nothing. Just leave me, my wife, and my son alone."

"Hmmm, Nah." Suddenly, the thief shoots Thomas as he falls to the ground.

The heroes we petrified at the scene. They couldn't believe this was done to Bruce.

"DAD"

"THOMAS." The thief then shoots Martha as she falls down.

He was about to shoot Bruce. But realized that he was out of bullets.

"Looks like it's your lucky night. Aww, are you sad your mommy and daddy are dead? Sorry to break this to you, but people die. And there's nothing you can do about it." The thief ran away. Leaving Bruce on his knees as he shakes his parents' bodies.

"Mom, Dad. Please get up. Please."

They closed their eyes as the rain started to pour down. Bruce just continues to shake their bodies, hoping for them to live.

The heroes were shocked at the scene. Some even cried. They all felt bad for him.

"Oh, Bruce. I'm so sorry."

"Who's that man? He has to PAY for this crime."

"Arthur, there's no need. His name is Joe Chill, and he's dead."

"What. You didn't kill the man. Right?"

"I didn't do ANYTHING."

"What does that mean?"

"I was there when I was a teen. He asks for help with medication, and I treat him the way he treated me. He was nothing to me."

The heroes were speechless at the statement
