Chapter 7 (The Drive)

Aquaman (Arthur Curry) POV

As Batman carries the Joker's unconscious body in his arms, he runs into Gordon. A worthy warrior. He talked with an officer until he saw Batman with Joker's body.

"Is he..... You know?" "I've checked his vitals. He's still alive, just unconscious." "Good, because you already know what happens if you cross the line." He said it like it was a treat.

"Wait, aren't they friend. Why is Gordon treating Batman."

Huntress came to the image, giving us our answer. And a surprising one it was.

"Still can't believe the GCPD is allowed to arrest and/or kill you if you cross the line."

"Wait, what."

"Why would that rule even exist."

"Do they not trust Batman as a hero."

Though our surprise increased with what Gordon commented.

"I still can't believe he agrees with the rule. Even gave me a remote that shut down his suit with my command, fingerprint, and face recognition with a 'not force to do this by villain' face."

"WHAT"

"How come Batman trusts him with that."

"Is he crazy."

"Based on what we saw. I say yes."

"He truly has earned a higher respect from Batman than us."

"I think I'm jealous."

Gordon took out a megaphone and said, "Send all prisoners to Blackgate and the crazies to Arkham. All available units, meet me at the precinct."

Batman puts Joker at the back of the Batmobile in the prisoner seats. He was about to enter the car until Harley showed up.

"Hey B-man, mind if I tag along." "Why. The last time I let you in, you pressed most of the buttons, including the ejection button." "Oh please, you were fine." "Because all the seat has parachutes. And I have a cape that glides." "And besides, you may need a bodyguard for Joker. And who's a better candidate than his ex. Who has a trigger finger personality and a desire to beat him with a bat multiple times."

"HE AGREES."

The two enter the Batmobile. "Don't make me regret this." "I solemnly swear, I'll TRY to not make you regret this." "I can already tell this is gonna be a mistake." "No takebacks, B-man." "Ughhhhhhh."

"AHAHAHAHA"

As they reach Arkham Asylum, all the rogues are transferred to their cells. Batman took out Joker, handcuffed him, and sent him to his cell.

"So the traitorous jester runs back to me." "HAHAHAHA. Oh, Mr. J, I've always wondered how I find you charming or funny." "Oh, I've always had a charm-- UGH."

Harley hit him in this manhood with her bat to shut him up. "Didn't ask, dumb@$$." She starts to beat him up.

"HAHAHA"

"Yeah. You go, girl."

"Whoop his @$$."

"Show him what a bird of prey can do."
