[EL POV]

I ran over to Will as fast as I could and my heart was racing. "Will, are you okay?" I sat down next to him and he stared at me. "He wants revenge. I don't know how he's alive, but he's angry. He's really  angry." Will explained, looking around at everybody while fidgeting with his fingers. "Why is nobody mentioning this? Last time, he was a spy! We almost died. We need to get it out of him again before he spies on us again." Mike stood up and shouted at everyone, looking at me specifically.

"We burnt it out of Billy, remember, at the pool?" Dustin explained, "So, we need to go to the pool, somehow lock Will in there after closing hours, and burn the shit out of him?" Lucas sarcastically implied, but after he said that Will looked terrified. "No no no no no, you guys don't have to go to the pool. There's a spa, here in the mall." Steve remarked, "What time is it?" Robin questioned Dustin, the only one with a watch. "6:53." "The mall closes in a few minutes, afterwards we can make our way to the spa." Robin's face looked like she just made some type of master plan.

"Wouldn't we need a key?" Max asked Robin with a skeptical look on her face, her eyes dulled. "Shit." Steve sighed and leaned back against the wall to think. "Hm. You think I could pick the lock?" Max inquired, laughing sarcastically, looking at me from across the room. "Actually, that's not a bad idea." Robin sat up straight. "It's not one of those, big, fancy, really hard-to-open locks, most stores here are just one small door," she explained, talking fast. "Well, that depends does anyone have a paperclip or a safety pin?" Max is looking around the room. "I'll grab one from the front desk." Steve walked out.

Will and I look at each other. "I don't want to." he's shaking his head frantically. "Will-" "I don't want to!" He yells, scooting away from me a few inches. Mike sits on the other side of Will. "If you let us do this, you'll feel better and the mind flayer, he'll be gone. "I ca-" Mike cut him off by grabbing Will's hand which was shaking vigorously. I thought holding hands was only for people who like each other? But it doesn't bother me that much. The rest of the room could feel the tension and I could too before Steve comes barging in. "Got one paperclip." He threw it at Max who cupped her hands out to catch it.

"Thanks," she told him. "Is everybody gone yet?" I inquired. "Everybody is just closing up their stores, so we need to wait a few minutes." He leaned against the wall. Lucas walked over to max and stood beside her. Seeing them together felt weird to me. I don't know why, I shouldn't feel like this, but I do. I wanted Lucas gone.

[MAX POV]

"They were seriously arguing about whether Coke or Pepsi is better? That's the easiest question I've heard!" I told him. "I know!" We were both laughing.  I love how Lucas makes me laugh, and how sweet he is. Looking into his big brown eyes is a safe feeling I'll never get from anybody else. His eyes have a bright tint to them that nobody has but him. Steve and Robin walk back into the room, "Everybody that I can see is gone, are you guys ready?" "No, no, no no I'm not going!" Will screamed, he started backing up into a corner and slowly slipped down the wall till he was sitting, holding his knees.

Mike jumped up and tried to help him up. "Will, Will it's okay I promise this will help you!" Will slapped his hand away. I turn to see Mike's expression and how he looks at Will- it doesn't look normal. It looks... Weird. "Mike please I don't want to do this again." Mike kneeled down by him and looked him in the eye. "Will, if we don't do this, all of us will be in danger including yourself. And we can't lose you, so please." Will's heavy breathing slowed down and he started looking around with Mike still sitting in front of him. Mike stood up and let his hand out for Will. "Please," Will took a deep breath and took his hand.

When Will was up, they didn't let go of each other's hands but instead stood there only inches away from touching faces, their hands locked in the middle of them. "Well, are we going or not?" Steve asked us throwing his hands in the air. His total obliviousness blows my mind. "Yeah, yeah we are." Mike released his hand from Will's and everybody walked out of the room.
