Otto looked at the line for a moment in silence. A couple of the actuators tapped their claws in the same way someone would tap their foot out of impatience. I cleared my throat before I spoke.

"You sure you don't want to wait until it clears a bit? I'd hate for you to get tired from standing so long."

I was concerned. With the fatigue he must feel to warrant two cups of coffee, waiting that long is going to be draining. I would be lying if I said I didn't want him to just stay next to me for a bit longer. He shook his hand dismissively. "I'll be fine." He looked at the lower two actuators. "They'll support me worst case scenario." I suppose he was right. Part of me longed to cut through the line to acquire the coffee for him. It's a little dramatic. Sure, a main character moment would be nice. However, it's not worth my dignity.

We exchanged a small wave before he walked away. The feeling of yearning returned and grew the farther he was from me. I didn't want to creepily stare at him the entire time. Distracting myself with the décor, I tapped my foot to contain my energy. I was startled by one of the arms whirring beside me. It placed his coat down on the seat beside me. We gave each other a look. The clanking of the plates making up the arm's structure arose once again when it retreated back to Octavius.

I did look at him on occasion. I tried to not look for too long. He was intriguing to me. Sure, he definitely had the strength to throw me through a wall. But there was something else. He was cute, despite him being larger than me. Cute in a gentle giant kind of way. He seemed so docile, even with the scary looking actuators attached to him. They were helpful to him. Though I still felt a bit of sympathy towards him having to listen to four voices in his head. Especially when there's nothing he can do about it. I wondered if there was a universe where the voices got the best of him. What would that be like. God, I bet he'd be hot. I shook my head to get rid of the thought.

It took everything in me to not bite my lip thinking about it.

The line shortened every minute or so. Waiting strangled my patience. The thirst I had felt didn't subside. It seemed to have only gotten worse. The urge I had to avenge his coffee grew. I distracted myself with my phone. After watching some silly goofy videos I didn't realize he sat back down beside me. I almost threw my phone when I heard him speak.

"Sorry, that took a bit longer than expected-(Y/N)? Are you alright?"

"Yeah! I just uh, get startled easily. It's not you. It's just me. You're fine, you didn't take too long or anything." I started speaking nonsense. I felt like curling into a ball and hiding from the world. I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Sorry, I really didn't sleep well at all. I'm scrambled."

Otto put his hand on my arm. "It's alright. Happens to the best of us." I completely froze. It was a brief moment of contact and I felt like exploding. My mind couldn't structure thoughts coherently. I suddenly asked the most random question.

"What's your favorite color?"

Octavius coughed a bit after taking a sip. I frantically apologized and he assured me he was fine.

Damn right he's fine-NO, relax!

"Green, you?"

I twiddled my thumbs while thinking. "I like green, too."

"It is a nice color, isn't it?"

"Yeah."

"Why do you ask?"

I had no explanation. It was the first question I could muster up after getting flustered over him grabbing my arm reassuringly. "Just curious. It's an interesting thing to find out about a person."

Octavius chuckled.

"I suppose it is." He took another sip as I glanced a look at his face again. My thoughts raced again. I imagined ruffling his dark hair, squishing his face ...

Perhaps even ...

I coughed out loud at the thought. Surely I look insane at this point. Maybe Octavius found my weird ass cute or endearing. God, I hope so.

"Are you sick?" He asked me. I quickly shook my head, how was I going to fix this situation?

"No, uhm, I smell a lot of things. It's overwhelming my nose." What the hell does that even mean?

He raised his brow, but smiled a little. "Are you sensitive?" Sensitive? To smells, I suppose. I'm sensitive to other things, things I won't name.

"Yeah. My senses are very keen." I winked.

Otto smirked. "Keen? Do you have a secret identity you're not telling me about?"

"No, I'm not Spider-Man."

He laughed at my flat response. "Well, of course you'd say that. It's a secret identity for a reason." He winked back at me. The blood in my body flushed my face. If he keeps going like this I'm going to say something bold. What would happen if I did? It's too early for that.

Unless. No, I shouldn't. Unless ...

"I'd be careful, Otto. If you keep trying to expose my secret identity I'm going to have to do something about it." A mischievous smile crept across my face. It may have been a trick of my mind, but I swore I saw him blush a little.

"Oh yeah?"

If I had no self-control I would've closed the distance between us as soon as he finished that question. It's like he was testing me. We leaned in a little closer as we went on with our banter. I didn't notice until this moment. My whole body started to shiver again. It took all of my willpower not to look at his mouth. If my body language hasn't given any hints, that definitely will.

"Yeah." I whispered.

I subconsciously batted my eyes at him. He was definitely a little flustered now. His face became a bit red. It gave me a feeling of power, it was nearly intoxicating. I didn't want to push too far, this is our second meeting. But, holy Hell, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to test how far I could go.

He had his hands resting on his thighs while facing me. My hand shook as I tried to not let it grab his. It felt like trying to stop a train at max speed. Worst thing he can do is say no. Right?

What am I thinking? We just met! Oh, God.

The feeling in my chest intensified. I gave in.

I put my hand on one of his.

"Are you blushing, Otto?"
