"What is this madness?"

"God damn!" I shouted. Peter glared at me as if I was being obnoxious. I overheard Otto chuckle a bit. I must have appeared like a weirdo as I shoveled the lettuce wraps into my mouth, as though I had gone a week without food.

"Is it really that good?" Otto asked me.

I looked up, trying to swallow the giant mouthful I just ate. Peter rubbed his face again out of the corner of my eye. "You sir," I managed to get out, "are a man of many talents." The doctor blushed a little as he looked down. I've got this babygirl blushing. Fuck yes. I couldn't help but smirk a bit at the thought. Thank goodness he had napkins. The wraps were good, but they were messy as all hell.

I was wiping my face when Peter spoke up. "We appreciate you inviting us over." Otto smiled warmly at him.

"It's no problem."

The photographer shifted in his chair. It was as if he was trying to scratch his ass with it. "Can I ask you for some advice?"

Otto sighed dramatically. "Does it have to do with that MJ lady you like to talk about?" I nosily looked up.

Peter lowered his head in shame. "Yeah." He muttered.

"Well, what's going on?"

"I never know what to say to her."

Taking an opportunity, I spoke up. "Have you tried cheesy pick-up lines?" They both looked at me curiously. Even a couple of the actuators tilted their 'heads.'

Peter looked between Otto and me. "No, I-I haven't. Like what?"

I perked up. Corny pick-up lines were my favorite. Due to my lack of poetry knowledge, this was my best shot. "You got to make sure you say them with charm. Like--a confidence that the person can't help but find cute. So, no creepy ones, obviously." I shrugged.

Peter seemed to realize my motivation behind my 'helpful' advice. "Give us some examples." I was a little flustered after being put on the spot. Yet, in terms of confidence, I had to follow my own advice from earlier. People like confidence.

"Alright. Uhm, oh! Here's one." I cleared my throat before I looked at Otto. "Do you like raisins?" I paused while he shrugged at me. "How do you feel about a date?" Making sure to add in a wink, the grown man flushed again. He laughed a little while facepalming.

"God, that was awful." I couldn't help but giggle. Peter smirked while trading glances between us. He knew what I was doing.

The photographer tilted his head when he looked at me. "What else you got?"

Looking at Otto for a second, my confidence returned to me in full. "I have a lot. We'll be here all day."

I placed down the bait.

Dr. Octavius took it.

"We have all day." He grinned at me and shrugged.

I inhaled deeply as I leaned back in my chair. "If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put 'U'," I gestured at Otto, "and 'I' together." He blushed once again as he propped his elbows on the table and leaned his face into his palms. Peter laughed awkwardly. He might have started to think about just leaving us alone. "I've got worse. For example, if you were a chicken, you'd be impeccable." The grown man giggled like a nerd as he placed his head in his folded arms on the table. "What?" I asked while giggling a bit myself.

Otto mumbled through his arms. "It's so bad." I nearly felt like torturing him with these horrible lines. Seeing his response certainly made it easier to.

"See?" I gestured to Peter. "If you say it the right way, you could make her laugh. She'll then find it cute." The blue eyed man looked as if he didn't believe me. "Watch." I instructed. "Hey, Otto."

The doctor struggled to look at me. Two of the actuators opened their claws once or twice. I assumed they found this amusing. If I were going to win him over, it's best to get all aspects of him interested. Otto mumbled a defeated "yes?"

"Did you just come out of the oven?"

He finally met my gaze as he held in a laugh. "Hm?"

I leaned in slightly as I whispered. "Because you're hot.~"

Peter interrupted before I could observe Otto's reaction. "Should I give you two some privacy?" Our faces were covered in a scarlet red simultaneously. The doctor nearly choked on his drink. I stumbled as I couldn't form a sentence. It took so much of my will to not jokingly say yes. As much as I wanted some alone time. I tried to not dwell on it, though. If I did, I would start to feel flustered all over. "I'm joking, it's okay." Peter assured us.

"I have one more, one more." I chimed in. Peter looked annoyed, but gestured for me to go ahead. "Alright, alright." Glancing at Otto, I saw that he was still awfully red in the face still. I got him right where I wanted him. "Are you a loan?" He shook his head before trying to hold back a giggle again. "Because you sure have my interest."

The man audibly groaned in his hands. "They're so bad." He muttered, then unintentionally let out a small snort. I almost squealed as little snorts were a weakness, but I maintained my composure. Seeing a grown ass man act like this was so fun. I winked at Peter as he looked as if he was about to just stand up and leave. "Parker, please don't listen to them." Otto joked.

"Works every time. Just look at Otto." I pointed at the man across from me. Peter rolled his eyes playfully.

Otto spoke up to defend himself. "Nothing is working on me." His face was still red, I could almost feel the heat emitting from it from the other side of the table.

I sat back and crossed my arms. "Oh yeah? You seem pretty flustered at the moment."

"I can't help it! You know what you're saying." He threw up his arms dramatically.

I sure did.

"Mhm." I muttered. "Otto, I think there's something wrong with my phone."

"Please--spare me." He mumbled while covering his cheeks.

"Your number's not in it." I winked again. The arm, Flo, looked at me while slowly opening it's claws. I soon felt uneasy. It was probably just a warning. Instead of the actuators not being able to distinguish a nonthreat from a threat, I wondered if the reason really was jealousy. Otto snorted again as he waved for me to stop. Peter looked over at me.

"I'll have to try that, then."

The doctor shot a quick glance at him. "Oh--please don't."

"Please do." I interjected.

Otto turned to look at me, quickly hiding his face behind his hand. "Please don't."
