Chapter 23

Chapter 23 -

When the sky had gone completely dark, Harry, Liam and Niall decided together that it was time to take Lissa and I home. I heard Lissa complain as we reached the beach to meet up with Louis and Zayn.

"If it wasn't a school night Lissa, we'd still be out there," Harry told her. Niall, Liam and Harry put their shirts back on and started walking towards Zayn and Louis. Lissa had picked up her shirt and came over to be next to me. I picked up my pink sweatshirt and pulled it over my head.

"That was the most fun I've had on the first day of school since I started school in kindergarden," Lissa told me as she put her shirt back on.

"So, what's with you and Harry?" I asked as we put our shoes on.

"Nothing yet that I know of. I think he knows that I like him because earlier I was blabbering on like a dork while I was explaining a game that I didn't know the name of." The boys motioned us to follow them. We grabbed our stuffed animals from where we left them at the table and then left the park. I was yawning like crazy when we got into the limo. Everyone was pretty tired. I leaned my head on Niall's shoulder and he laid his head on top of mine. I held my teddybear close. Lissa's house was closer to the amusement park than mine, so they were going to drop her off first. I was kind of in and out of it when the limo stopped. I saw Harry and Lissa get out off the limo and then a few minutes later Harry was back. The boys were having conversations with each other but I couldn't quite make out what it was because I had drifted into sleep.

Niall's POV:

I noticed Bryli had fallen asleep.

"Shh you guys; Bryli's asleep," I told the guys. She look so peaceful sleeping. When we arrived at Bryli's house, I had asked Zayn to help me with Bryli. He got out of the limo first and I handed him Bryli's teddy bear that I had won for her. Then I carried her out of the limo and up to her house. Zayn knocked on the door and her mother answered.

"Why hello boys," she said. I noticed her looking at Bryli in my arms. "Is everything alright with Bryli?"

"Yeah, she just fell asleep on the way here," Zayn informed Mrs. Roberts.

"Oh, well her room is just up the stairs and to the right if you could put her in there." So Zayn and I walked up the stairs and into Bryli's room. Zayn was about to turn the light on but I motioned him not to. I brought Bryli to her bed and laid her on it. I turned around to see Zayn looking at Bryli's bedroom walls. There were posters of us and the other guys all over them. I turned my attention back to Bryli. I took of her shoes and put them at the foot of her bed. Zayn had put her teddy bear by her window that was facing the front yard.

"I'm leaving now," Zayn told me as he left. I looked at Bryli sleeping. I bent down to kiss her forehead and that's when her eyes opened.

"Niall?" she whispered.

"Yes Bryli?"

"Could you stay with me? Just for tonight?" I looked at her and I just couldn't say no. So I went to the window and waved at Paul to tell him to drive the boys home. Turning around to walk back towards Bryli's bed, I noticed she was asleep again. I tip-toed over to her bed and carefully slid my self next to her. She was lying on her side so I slid my arm over hers, grabbed her hand and I just laid there with her.
