Chapter 67 -

Prom finally arrived.

We had gotten ready at my house. Zayn, Liam and Louis' dates had gotten ready in Stephen's room while Lissa and I got ready in my room. Their dates were just girls from our class; they weren't dating them.

"So what do you think of Audra?" Lissa asked me.

Audra was Louis' date.

"Well, I don't exactly like her. Audra and I butt heads all the time in Home EC. Mr. Fisher puts me with her all the time when we make extremely hard dishes. It's like he wants me to suffer," I said.

Lissa and I were in our dresses now. All we had to do was our makeup and our hair; Lissa's mom and my mom were doing our hair. The other three girls had their hair done already.

"Well, What about Julia?"

Julia was Zayn's date.

"Eh, she's okay. She's not much of a talker."

"I guess you're right. What about Daphne? She seems nice."

"Lissa, Daphne is the one that purposely sabotaged our history project."

"Why did the boys pick girls who pretty much hate us?"

"I don't think they did it on purpose, Lissa. Besides, the girls asked them."

Our moms came into my room and did our hair and makeup then. Once they were done, I looked at my mom and noticed she was crying.

"Mom, don't cry," I pled

"Its just that...you two are so beautiful," my mom cried.

"Thank you Mrs. Roberts," Lissa said.

I looked over at Lissa's mom; she wasn't crying at all.

"Girls, you both look wonderful," Lissa's mom said.

We stood up so she could take a picture of us.

"Ah, such beautiful ladies," my mom said.

"Are the boys ready yet?" I asked.

I saw my mom nod her head. So Lissa and I headed out of my room. We saw Daphne, Julia and Audra standing in front of us in their prom dresses. Audra had a hot pink strapless dress that went to the floor. Julia had a baby blue short dress and Daphne, who is wearing the shortest dress I've ever seen, was wearing a very tight red dress. If Daphne's dress was any tighter, it could have been her best friend.

"Okay girls, stand together so we can take another picture," Lissa's mom said.

Lissa and I really didn't want to take a picture with them, but we did anyway. Once that was over, Lissa and I put on our converse as the other girls put on their ridiculously high heels. The boys were waiting for us at the bottom of the staircase. Lissa and I descended down the stairs to the boys with ease. The other girls on the other hand, were having some major issues just making it down one step.
