⎯  Unfortunately, the atmosphere around them started to change drastically - under different circumstances as news spread out like wildfire that the Scouts under the Survey Corps are being held wanted by the government.

In retaliation, Commander Erwin plotted a strategy with one of their ally, the mysterious woman with an innate ability to
manipulate fire with the use of a mystified, powerful tear-drop ruby gem called the Gemstone of Fire, as they decide to hide and go into exile - yet still devising a plan to still have a bigger advantage against their foe.

And with that, alongside the higher-ups up to the cadets, they all rode their horses, galloping up the hill until they reached an abandoned green lush-filled forest, as they camped up for the night.

“Gemstone of Fire, I'd hereby grant this place a protective hidden barrier to shield us against our enemies and for the safety of us all.” The fire-wielder Sang'gre swore an incantation while in her palms revealing the tear-drop ruby gem of fire, the gem reacted to its mistress's order as it glowed throughout the night sky - a fiery shade of scarlet burst of light scattered across the place, as it formed into a protective barrier which would serve as a hiding place to those who've been mercilessly searching for them for the past few days.

It was still around the early afternoon. The teens who had been selected as the new members of the Special Ops Squad rounded up food and gathered firewood for them to use like usual for the night. Meanwhile, Levi and Hera were doing their normal patrol around the forest in case any members of the Military Police would spot their whereabouts.

Over these past few days of staying hidden from the government, both adults had grown a mild unspeaking trust and comfort. Unfortunately, none of the two had carried on a normal conversation like the one they had in Erwin’s room a few days ago. Their conversations would only last about three to five words. If they were lucky, it could last two sentences.

Returning back to camp where the other teens were, Hera and Levi met at the usual spot where they’d return after their early afternoon patrol. “Any sign of them?” Levi inquired. Hera shook her head, “None. You?”
