⎯  Ever since Hera had gone off to rescue and saved her child from impending danger - an hour had passed, as the cadets and the superiors of the Survey Corps sat down patiently waiting for the fire-wielder female to arrive with her daughter in arms.

A while ago Hera appeared beside her daughter's sleeping figure on a comfy and silky smooth bed - gazing at her child - warmly grinning at her as she played with the luscious ebony curls of her daughter's hair.

And with that, she went down to her child's forehead - pressing a small kiss onto it, inhaling the sweet scent of lavender and chamomile - a whiff of essence she'll know she'd familiarize herself with.

So, she whispered into the child's ears gently to wake her up, "Daphne, my love… please wake up."

Daphne quickly opened her eyes - before rubbing her eyelids - as she knew that voice, a voice to whom she knew and loved - it belonged to her dearest mama.

Like an energized child - she quickly stood up and ran over to her mom's embrace - hugging him tightly like a clingy koala yearning for her mother's warmth and embrace.

Hera chuckles, as butterflies in her stomach erupt so fast - a huge wave of euphoria overcame her emotions; as she returned her daughter's tight embrace.

"Forgive me for waking you up, my love…
have you missed me, don't you?" Hera asked while gently cradling her two-year-old toddler - as the said toddler hummed, resting her head on her mother's shoulders.

"Yes mama, I missed you so much," Daphne replied, pouting her lips as she cutely looked up at her mommy, gazing at her adorably.

"Hmm, Mama also missed her clever girl so much, my love…" Hera stated as she kept on smooching Daphne's forehead before continuing, "Well, we must make haste and leave this place my darling."
