As the pain of her body takes hold, she slowly gets to her feet. She then limps towards the bag of ammo and explosives. An eerie silence seems to be all that there even is. Yet in the distance, she can hear the distinct shirking and scraping of their blades, more were coming.

Quickly wrenching her neck sideways to crack her neck, she knew what she was going to do, at least she would give him a proper funeral pyre. Maddie goes into the kitchen, sliding her hand over the dials of the burners, turning them on all, and starts to let the house fill with gas.

She opens a drawer to find a pack of matchs and walks in to the front room, and with her foot flips over the coffee table, then grabs the candle from the ground, placing it on the table and two bombs next to it. She finds the tv's remote, and turns on the tv, cranking the volume up to eleven, she then lights a match, igniting the candle with it and tossing the match behind her.

She starts to walk out to the back of the house, and with one last turn, just to look at this once beautiful place one last time, she hears the sounds, the monsters closing in. She jumps over the wall behind Wes's house and looks up to the now seemingly blood drenched sky.

"Fuck, it's almost beautiful, if it weren't so objectively terrifying." She says, pulling out one of her last 3 remaining joints, and putting it in her lips, to light it up, but after taking a bunch of puffs, she tosses it down, and walks off crushing it as she continues now towards the school.

She limps quickly and gets to the church's parking lot. Seconds later she hears a massive explosion. She looks back to see a black cloud emanating from the smoldering pile of rubble that was once her beloved's home.

"Goodbye Wesl-..." she thinks but suddenly, she is hit on the back of the head and the world turns black.......

.....She awakens, and as she regains her senses, she moves her hands only to find them tied to a chair with duct tape. She started to scream, only to be met with her own muffled whispers as the ball gag ceases any form of speech she has. She then angrily wrenches around in the chair, in a vain attempt to free herself.

The damn chair won't budge, whoever tied her to the chair took great pains to make sure she could not break free. She sees the open door that was the only entrance and exit of the room, and she can see that she is in one of the back rooms of the church.

Then she hears it, the shake, the rattle of a chain, and a giant metal cross begins to appear in the darkness of the door. Then two white eyes peered through the blackness at her, with the iris of both of its eyes fully dilated.

"Madison, Madison..." came the slimy voice of the figure. "...Now the deeds of thy flesh are evident, within you," it continues as the figure begins to loom towards her. She struggles against her bounds, yet fear does not grip her only a white hot anger, "which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, outbursts of anger" it moves ever closer its damn rattling cross, like a nail falling on shattered glass "Disruption! Dissension!" It screams.

"What god or devil is here to finally show his fucking face?!" She thought, just ready, ready for it to be over, ready for death, even if that is by some damn creature's hand.

"..Things such as these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God!" The monstrous figure screams, in its odious crescendo of manic fervor, and it steps finally into the full view of the candle light, it was something that was once the town priest, but now he looked how he was on the inside.

His vestments were no longer a dark void of black, but an ominous red luster, they were stained...stained with blood.

"Oh... how I have longed for this day, Madison" he began walking around the room. Maddi could see his face, it was cut and sliced into a twisted smile, with a cross carved deeply into his forehead. "From the moment I saw you... I knew god was telling me to help you." he says.
