Someone from the crowd spoke up, "Hey, isn't he that UA student the police are looking for?! If that's him, then the other guy must be the other student! I got the police on the line!">
Shinsou grabbed Denki's hand, quickly dragging him away. "We have to go!" He repeated, louder than before.>
Denki flinched, snapping out of his panic with tears flowing from his eyes as he ran with Shinsou, "Sorry, sorry! I- Damn it!" He was working himself into another panic as he ran.>
Shinsou led Denki back to the hideout a different way, ducking behind buildings so they wouldn't be seen. He kept an eye out for anyone, not knowing if they'd try to contact the police if they saw them. He eventually reached the bridge again, quickly pulling the door to the hideout open.>
Once he was inside, he fell to the ground, pulling his knees to his chest as he mumbled profanities and about how stupid he was to think he could escape her. He felt a headache form, realizing his breathing was uneven.>
Shinsou set the supplies down, carefully walking over to Denki's side. He gently wrapped an arm around him.>
Kami jumped, scrambling away, "D- don't touch me! I'm- I'm not going back! I can't- can't go back!" His breathing sped up more, them coming in as ragged gasps for oxygen.>
Shinsou stayed where he was, not wanting to scare him more. "I'm not going to make you go back. I'll never make you go back. I promise," he whispered.>
He covered his ears, blinded by panic, "Don't! Sh-SHut up! Just- Shut up!" He grabbed his hair, tugging on it tightly, trying to snap himself back to reality.>
"Sorry," he whimpered, folding his arms across his chest and scooting away.>
After a few more minutes of panicking, he was more aware of where he was and who he was with. He looked around, his breathing still heavy as he spotted Shinsou. He went wide-eyed, going over to him, "Toshi... Are you okay? Did- Did she hurt you?!.." A million thoughts raced through his head.>
He flinched for a second, backing away slightly. "No, she didn't. I'm okay." He answered, scooting back over to Denki. "What about you?" He asked, concern on his face as he rested a hand gently on Denki's shoulder.>
Shaking his head, he responded. "No just- just gave me a near heartattack is all." He half-joked.>
"Sorry," he replied, laying his head on Denki. "I'm sorry that you had to see her. Sorry I couldn't get us away fast enough. Sorry I couldn't help when you were panicking. Sorry I-">
Denki interrupted him, lifting his head up so he'd look at him. He put a finger to Hitoshi's mouth, shaking his head sternly, "No. This was not your fault. Not my fault. We couldn't have known she was there. This is only her fault. If she wasn't such a shitty mother, we wouldn't be in this situation to begin with.">
He laughed quietly. "Yeah, you're right." He rested his head back on Denki, wrapping his arms around him.>
He held onto Hitoshi tightly, afraid he'd disappear if he let go. He mumbled, "But on the bright side of it all, if she wasn't how she is then I wouldn't have been at the dorms that night. We wouldn't have hung out at your house. I wouldn't have gotten the courage or even the chance to tell you how I feel. We wouldn't be together right now.">
He smiled. "Yeah. I don't know what I would have done without you." He muttered, burying his face into Denki's shoulder.>
His chin on the top of Hitoshi's head, "Yeah, me neither.">
Hitoshi continued holding onto Denki, not wanting to let go. He sighed, relieved as his previous panic began to melt away.>
Thinking back to his previous outburst, he spoke softly, "I'm sorry about earlier and what I said... I was panicking so much, I guess I didn't realize I was yelling at my amazing boyfriend.">
