Ariel picked Miles from his school and took him to his favourite diner. They had their lunch and were walking back to their house when Lilly came across her. She was the mother next door who was taking her kids to the park. Her son Tyler was Miles' best friend. Miles pleaded with Ariel to let him go with them and a few struggles later, she finally agreed.

Now she was alone walking back to the house, lost in her thoughts, reaching closer she saw the main door barged open. Her knots dropped in the pit of her stomach. She gulped and looked around for someone out of fear and desperation. The street was dead silent. With greater difficulty, she strolled inside and sucked a bated breath.

Every single belonging was hurled to the floor. From Miles' painting hanging on the wall to her childhood decoration items, everything was windblown from their positions as if a tornado hit her house. Her eyes went round seeing her picture frame shattered into splinters.

Her eyes welled up. Her footsteps were backtracking. Her mind conjectured what exactly had happened. Maybe she got the wind of Ariel's existence, she had made him send his men to kill her. Fear engulfed her from all sides and just as she turned around to storm out, she thudded against a wall, her hand propelled toward her head that still had stitches in place.

Hissing, she opened her eyes and craned her neck to find out the wall was actually a sturdy man. He was donning a blue hoodie with a cloak on, his muscles were bulging out as if he was straining them. Her breath hitched in her throat. "Please, no, don't," She stepped back while shaking her head, her shoulder bag slung down.

"Oh, Kitty, you see where your defiance has taken you?" The intruder tilted his head and smirked leeringly, his eyes were concealed by his baseball cap.

"Please, leave me alone," Tears brimmed down her cheeks, trailing to her swollen, burnt lips. He took notice of it, his eyebrows crinkled the following second and his jaw morphed into a blazing knife.

"Oh, so you have started letting men touch you too," He lowly gritted while slithering his knife from his waistband. "Touch what is mine," Ariel's eyes widened, her chin wobbled as endless possibilities ran into her mind and all of them including death. Painful death. "Defying me wasn't enough for you, huh?" He stepped ahead, she retreated back into the corridor.

"Please, it's nothing like you think," Her body quivered just by seeing him here. He turned her house into a hellhole.

"Then enlighten how is it? Because as far as I can see you're going too fast, kitty. Not good," Her back contracted with the wall beside her room, she was panting too hard to notice the doorframe. The man covered the distance in two long strides and stood closer to her.

"Not good for a woman who is going to be my wife," She shut her eyes, sinking into his declaration. Her eyes brimmed with more tears as she found his words true.

He lifted the knife and Ariel's breath hitched, he put the tip of the knife near her cheek and trailed it toward her lower lip. His eyes were boring holes in her lips with lecherous intention. "Tell me, who fucked these lips?" He pressed the tip against her lips and earned a gasp from her.

"The driver or someone in the hospital?"

Ariel was too frightened to speak a word so she only shook her head out of desperation, "No, someone else?"

Her sob broke out.

"Come on, kitty, tell me who bit them too hard that they swell this bad," He rasped while applying more pressure until her lips pierced and blood seeped out.

Ariel whimpered with eyes shut, pain befalling on her features."So, I can slice them limb by limb,"

"Bruce, please, don't," She pleaded, mewling.
