Azalea wasn't bad at driving. Despite Steve being a total backseat driver, she remained level-headed and got them back to the mall in about half the time they took getting to the hill.

As she veered into the parking lot, panic struck her seeing Nancy in front of her car holding a gun aimed at another car feet away.

That car had mind-controlled Billy in it, ready to run her down.

"He's gonna hit her," Robin breathed shakily.

Nancy started shooting at him, and Billy reeved his engine in anger, the car starting towards her.

"Azalea. Drive." Steve cried out from the backseat.

"What?"

"Hit him! NOW!"

Azalea slammed on the gas, no time to think.

She unconsciously stuck an arm out in front of Robin in the passenger seat as an extra seatbelt.

They went crashing into the side of Billy's car, both cars spinning out.

Azalea turned the wheel the opposite way and hit the breaks, stopping them before getting out of control. They came to an abrupt halt, whipping sharply.

Azalea's hands were shaking as she took them off the wheel.

Steve was already climbing out of his seat in the now totaled car, "You two okay up there?"

Robin grimaced, "Ask me tomorrow?"

A low grumble and loud thumping sound getting closer draws the trio's attention back to the mall.

The giant, fleshy monster loomed over the mall eerily.

"Oh, shit!" Robin cursed, edging out of her seat.

Nancy called over to the three of them urgently from her car, "Get in!"

Wasting no more time, the trio clambered out of the wrecked car.

Steve panicked and kept muttering, "Go, go, go, go!"

Azalea legs felt like jelly, still stunned from the crash.

Robin noticed and grabbed her hand, pulling her into a run along with her.

The three then squished into the trunk of Nancy's car and went flying away from the mall, luring the monster with them.

As they traveled further and further away from the mall, the monster still never seemed to tire.

Azalea kept her eyes locked on it.

"Dusty-bun, you copy?" An unknown voice asked through the static from the walkie Robin held.

"I copy, Suzie-poo." Dustin responded, "It sounds much better now, thanks."
