After the shocking revelation, Issei was able to be a little happy for the first time. But he had to start training as soon as possible. The next morning his training started. His house had a basement that consisted of two floors. First one was for team sparring and last one was for individual training. Issei could let all out when training alone. So he did just that. After three weeks of hellish training Issei started to feel a huge power increase in his body. He was now more powerful than he had ever been. It was all for the sake of one thing.
"(We don't have any more time to train anymore. Only one week is left before the deadline. We need to perform the transformation ritual now. I am not sure if it's going to be successful. But I hope that we can pull this off.)" said Ddraig with a conserned voice. "Well, I'll die either way. So even if this is a suicide mission, I'm willing to do it." "(Hahaha! Well said, partner! You are more courageous than anyone I have ever seen. Let us survive this!)" Ddraig said with a proud voice."(But first you need to find a cave for the ritual. We don't want your house getting bloody, now do we?)" "Okay, I'll find a cave."
•After a few hours•
"Well Ddraig, I found a suitable cave. Now, should we start?" "(Yes, partner. Let's start the ritual. First, I will cut the pieces off from your soul and it will hurt a lot. This part will take a lot of energy. After that you'll start to turn full dragon. I guess the process will take a few hours. The success rate is 29% but I'm hoping for the best. Are you ready?)" said Ddraig with concern still present in his voice. "Yeah!" Issei replied. "(PUUUUUUUURGEEE!)" roared the red dragon of domination.
The black spot started to glow bright red and Issei was screaming his lungs out from the excruciating pain. One by one, 7 evil pawn pieces were shot out of his body. There remained only one piece that was near his heart. It was the hardest to remove."(Partner, now for the final one.)"
"Do it, Ddraig." Issei said weakly. He was exhausted from the removal of the 7 pieces.
When the final piece was getting shot out of his body, Issei felt more pain that all the 7 pieces combined couldn't give him.
But after the piece was removed, Issei started to lose consciousness. 'Am I going to die........?' "(PARTNER?! PARTNER!! DON'T DIE! LIVE FOR MY SAKE!!!)" Ddraig's faint voice was heard by him as he was drifting away in the darkness.
"{Issei Hyoudou, the red dragon emperor! Do you wish to live? Do you wish for power? Do you wish to win?!} said a voice filled with power and authority. "Who are you?" "{I am Bahamut, the dragon god of annihilation. Answer me do you wish for victory over your enemies?}" "Yes, I do." "{Then I shall give you the power you so desire.}" "But what's the deal? I know there's always a catch in these types of things. So what do you want from me?" "{Hahaha! You're quite sharp. But there is nothing you can offer me, child. I have been observing you. And I can say that you are worthy of my power. Use my strength to show them what we dragons truly are capable of! Do you agree?}" "If that's the case, I accept!"
"{Good choice. Now go back to the living and awaken me, young one.}"
"(PARTNER! Are you alive? How am I still here?)" "Relax Ddraig. I'm okay now." Issei said while waking up. "(But how?! The energy wasn't sufficient enough! How did you survive the removal of the last piece?)"
"{Because I helped him.}" "(L..L...Lord Bah....Bahamut?! You helped my partner?! But why?)" "{Because I saw his courage and prowess. I was impressed and I decided that he was worthy of my power.}" "(Thank you my lord for saving my friend.)" "{No need to thank me, Welsh Dragon. Let us train him so that he could make dragons great again.}" "(As you wish.)"
"(Partner! Congratulations on surviving! You are now a full blooded dragon. Your magic reserves has increased and so has you physique. But the only weakness you have is dragon slaying weapons.)" "So that's finally done?! I'm free! I'll have my revenge on them. I will give them the pain they deserve. I WILL MAKE THEM SUFFER AS I HAVE!!" roared Issei the newly born dragon.
