Chapter 23 (Tengen uzui)

Tanjiro's POV-

1 month has passed since then and the three of us has been given a lot of mission of slaying demons. Some where by team, but majority of them were solo. I don't really mind though. I also use this opportunity to strengthen my breath style.I get to practice sun breathing and sometimes I go out at night to patrol even though no one ask me too.

I just wanted to try the new things that i learned. I can also hold the red mark on my forehead for 55 minutes, after that i will pass out. I always meditate to create a sense of calm and inner harmony, it's all about altering consciousness, finding awareness, and achieving peace. In short it's concentration. The best way to concentrate is to meditate.

Zenitsu and inosuke also train theirself so that they can become stronger. Zenitsu always wines about simple things but nezuko is enough to shut him up. While inosuke is focuses on surpassing me. He always try to make me angry so that we could fight, but thanks to my kind nature, i just can't do something like that. He can do more pig assaults now and he could use full concentration like forever same with zenitsu.

Just by thinking about this things make me happy, i feel like I'm not alone. "LET US GO!" I'm coming back from my mission as i heard a loud commotions. I hurriedly rush as i saw aoi-san and Naho getting carried by a muscular man.

3rd POV-

"Just shut up" the bulky man named Uzui tengen said as he carried the two girls. "Kanao!" Aoi called for rescue as she extended her arm while kanao just sweating wondering what she should do. "Masters not here...what should i do...superior...orders...duty...coin... I'll settle it with my coin!" She thought as she remembered something "always listen to the voice of your heart kanao!"

she rushed to aoi's side and try pull her out shocking aoi and the others. "Don't pull on me, you have your orders" he said "let go of them!" The two little girls yelled in unison. Uzui got a tick mark on his forehead showing that he is irritated. "Just say something you plain boring person!" they Yelled at him "CHAAAARGEEE!" The two little girls swarm him like an ant and struggle to make aoi drop. "DAMN YOU! CUT THE DAMN CRAP OUT!" Tanjiro who just got on the area after returning from his solo mission see's the commotion. "KIDNAPPER! LET US GO!" Naho screams.

Tanjiro not thinking at all just disappeared and appeared above uzui sending a kick directly on his face. Due to uzui being a former ninja he easily dodge it appear behind him sitting while tanjiro landed on the ground on his feet. "You fool! 'I'm the former shinobi' Uzui Tengen-sama. The man who is known as the most flamboyant on this part. Did you think that i would get kick by a brat like you?" He glared after saying his name.

"Give aoi-san and the other back!" "Pervert! Pervert!" "Damn you brat! Who do you think your bad mouthing here! I have superiority! You jack ass!" "I don't accept you as a pillar!" "Hmph!" "Don't 'hmph me' what do you even you don't accept me! Is your brain completely dead! I need a female corps member for my mission! I don't need kocho's permission if they were not ' a successor'!" sumi yelled that naho is not a member cuz she's not wearing uniform and hearing that uzui threw her while aoi was still struggling. "I was just on my way back, but i still got some strength to fight!" Inosuke yelled. "Le-let go of aoi-san... even your kind a muscle monster...your no-not ta-taking a sing-le step..." The terrified blonde said.

Uzui POV-

Who did they think they are? I'm a pillar!hmmm... A brat with a bore mask who can sense anything like an animal. A blonde crybaby who have some flashy breath style based on the report and a red haired child who has the same breath style as the strongest pillar. what is this presence, this boy has presence of a pillar or even stronger from it (could he be the brother of Taiyo?).

Good good good. Maybe they could help me. "Okay, I'll have the three of you come with me" i said as i drop the girl, and wait outside."his stepping down without a fight..." "Now follow me brats, don't dare to defy me punks!"

Kanao pov-

Tanjiro and his friends took over a dangerous mission to accompany the sound pillar. "Were going now! is there a new order from kanao? let's work hard together!" Tanjiro is always so gentle with his words. He always works hard, he does hellish training and sometimes i see him secretly crying due to loss of his family.

I couldn't say anything...i couldn't make a voice. It always nothing changes... actually that's wrong because i change... "Tanjiro...take care of yourself!" I scream so the he could hear even though his a bit far, he smiled at me making my heart race. "Thank you, kanao! Were heading out!" Waving his hand while smiling as always. He really is a kind guy. I almost jump in joy that i finally said it. I finally say something! I'm proud of myself!

3rd POV-

"Where we going, geezer!" Inosuke asked "to the most flamboyant place in all of japan filled with lust and greed! The 'red light district were the demon lives!"
