Nothings the same

The weekend flew by and me and Marney only hung out once or twice. I missed Jesse like crazy.  I stayed at Jesse's apartment  Marney had come over and we would smoke and talk.
Jesse had kept his promise and he face timed me a lot.

I had work tomorrow and I didn't even want to go but who really ever wants to actually go to work. I honestly had nothing to look forward to till the day Jesse does a show near by. I've already got my ticket and marney bought hers.

I walked over to the apartment around 8 in the morning and went up to my room. I rolled a blunt and brought it with me an my way over to Todd's house because that's where marney was at and I figure we might as well smoke.

I hoped in the BMW bc marney left the keys for me and I started my gps. Once I made it to Todd's house I knocked on the door and Marney opened it. She looked a mess.

Y/n: so I guess you forgot I was coming over
I giggled through the sentence

Marney: I'm sorry. We just finished anyways

I laughed and followed Marney into the living room where Todd was and sat down on the couch.

Y/n: I rolled a blunt if y'all want to smoke?

Todd: definitely

Marney: get it girl.

I pulled out the blunt from my cigarette pack and passed it to marney so she could light it. We ended up finishing the blunt fast and we all just talked and ate for most of the day.

Jesse: hey princess how's your day so far?
Me: good me and Marney just smoked a blunt.
Jesse: I miss you so much baby. I have good news for you
Me: tell me and I miss you too
Jesse: we are ending the tour early. We are still playing down close to you but some of the places we were going to go wouldn't let us play.
Me: oh that sucks I'm sorry. I mean it's good news for me but not for your fans.
Jesse: yea I'm just so excited to come back and be with you.
Me: me too
Jesse: I'll ft you later tonight
Me: ok baby have fun but not to much fun.
Jesse: I can't without you princess
Me: lol I love you

Y/n: Marney guess what

Marney: what?

Y/n: Jesse's tour is ending early

Marney: oh that's great news for you.

Y/n: yea but he still doesn't get back for another 3 weeks.

Marney: it'll be ok you till have me

I hugged her and said my goodbyes. I drove back to the apartments and went into my room. I face timed Jesse and we only talked for a little while. I had to get to bed soon it was already 9:30 and I had to get up for work around 6 in the morning. So I changed into some comfort clothes and layed down getting ready for the next day.

The next day I woke up around 6 and I had to leave at 6:35 so I would be there by 7. I took the car to work and once I got there I walked in and a new guy started so I introduced myself.

Y/n: hi you must be the new guy I'm y/n

Eddie: hey I'm Eddie it's nice to finally meet you.

Y/n: yea you too.

Eddie: so what are we hanging up today?

Y/n: go ask Johnny he normally knows

Eddie: thanks

I nodded and Eddie walked off. Eddie seemed like a nice guy and he wasn't to bad looking either. Jesse still looked better tho. Later in my the day me and Eddie had an hour to show some people around but we both had to do it together. The whole time we were walking around me and Eddie kept bumping into eachother and he kept flirting with me. I thought it was cute and I'm allowed to flirt with people since me and Jesse aren't official.

After the people had left I offered Eddie a ride. Eddie agreed and got in the car. Me and Eddie were talking about our families and our childhoods Buti didn't say much. I didn't really know him so I didn't want him to know to much about me. I hadn't mentioned Jesse either I didn't think it was needed.

Eddie: my house is on the left

I pulled over and before Eddie got out he looked right at me.

Eddie: we should hang out some time. Can I have your number.

Y/n: sure.

I gave him my number and he winked at me before he left. I wasn't interested in dating him or anything but it was a fun game ig. I didn't wanna play him either so I never said yes to the 'date' thing he proposed. I drove back to the apartment and decided to go into Jesse's. I walked in and grabbed one of his hoodies that still smelt like him. I couldn't wait for him to be back. My phone dinged and it was Jesse.

Jesse: ik you just got off work baby do u wanna ft here soon?
Me: of course

Jesse face timed me a couple minutes after he texted me.

Jesse: hi princess
Me: hi baby
Jesse: how was work?
Me: good actually there was a new guy
Jesse: nice. Is he any good?
Me:  I mean yea he did pretty good today
Jesse: that's good.
Me: yea how's the show going?
Jesse: amazing we have an incredible crowd today.
Me: that's amazing. I'm so proud of you.
Jesse: aw thanks princess. Did you eat today?
Me: a little
Jesse: what did u have?
Me: a bite of a sandwich
Jesse: good

We talked for about an hour and then Jesse had to hang up bc Zach told them they were about to go on. I wasn't sure what location they were at but it didn't matter as long as he was having a good time.

I feel asleep in Jesse's hoodie on his couch. The next day my phone alarm went off and I had work once again so I got ready and went. Eddie was there again. We hung out and he actually made work bearable. I actually liked hanging with him.

                           Time skip

The whole week went by and I was once again in Jesse's apartment with Marney. We were smoking bc I had just gotten off work. Me and Jesse started getting distant and we weren't face timing like we were when he first left. He would try and ft me ever 2 days but bearly ever made it. I knew he was busy so I just hung out with Eddie. Later that day I still hadn't heard from Jesse and I was scrolling thru Instagram when I seen his story and he was with some girl. I had no idea who she was But i also couldn't say anything about it since we weren't together. It definitely made me a little upset. The next thing on his story was two people holding hands but it was only the hands of you know what I mean. I was devastated. I just ignored it at this point and went to Eddie's house to smoke. I didn't even explain anything to Eddie. I didn't even want to talk about it.

I was so stoned I guess Eddie had some really good weed. I layed down and Eddie had played his head in between my thighs and it reminded me of Jesse but I don't think about it. Eddie then took out his phone and took a picture of himself there. I didn't mind either. If Jesse could go out and be with other woman then I can be with other men I just didn't want to date or have sex with him.

I went back home after being at Eddie's house for awhile and I went up to my room. Everything finally was processing thru my head. I started crying uncontrollably. Tears covered my face an still not a single text from Jesse. I wasn't about to text him. I had a bunch of emotions going thru my body rn. Maybe I was just overthinking it. Maybe it was just a fan or something or maybe he got hacked. That's what I wanted to believe but I didn't know and I don't think I even want to know.
