I look down cause I have heard it. I hear it talk to me. 'how can a pillow talk to me.'

I woke up in the morning not finding anyone. That's strange, I thought to myself. I do my morning chores and got ready for the job. Today is gonna be my last day. I already gave my resignation letter to my boss a month ago. I told him, I might not be available on Earth after my birthday. He saw me as though I have gone crazy but accepted my resignation. I was happy today, but a side of me made me feel lonely.
Every year my secret fairy, the prince of the Fairyland would come and wish me. He would also make sure to do some magic so that I do not have to do my house chores like usual. He was not here in the morning, it's okay. I am sure he must be busy on his trip. He is the only friend I have. I hope he turns up at least by evening.
On my way back home, I took a few cupcakes for myself. I was not sure if my secret fairy would come to wish me. But I wanted my 18th birthday to be a bit special to me. I reached home. I turn on the light, I hear a pleasant birthday song that was sung by a group of fairies. My secret fairy, the prince was there ready with the cake. So he was planning for a surprise party I thought. I look around the house, to see that it was fully decorated with many lights, Purple and pink decoration. The most attractive part was the cake. It was a fairy theme cake. I loved it. The fact that all these fairies made my life beautiful, they took an effort for me, who was just a human. I have never done anything for them except to wish and pray for my own needs, yet they entered my life to make it a wonderful one.

"Come on come on, it's time to get ready and wear this dress, and she will help you with it," said the prince and pushed me and two other female faries into the room. I come out of the room. I saw the Prince looking at me with so much love, I couldn't ignore it. After all, he was my one and only childhood crush. I know, my marrying him is impossible, but there is no sin in crushing on the one and only person I trust right? " You look so gorgeous Cathy. I feel like falling in love with you." He said. I was shocked at the sudden confession but I blushed so hard. It was my crush proposing to me. He took my hand and lead me towards the cake I saw everyone present there. I was filled with gratefulness and glossy eyes. The prince notices it and then says - "It's not time yet for you to tear up, there is a lot more for you tonight. Now come on close your eyes, make a wish and blow the candles." he said.
I wish to be a fairy for my lifetime. I wish to come back to Earth but never in the form of a Human. I wish to help and be a kind fairy. I wish to help many people out there who have a childhood like mine. If there is a chance, I wish for the prince to be my life partner or make him my lifetime best friend.
I open my eyes and was totally shocked and surprised. I tear up seeing what was in front of me.
